OffshoreInsiders.com handicapper Matt Rivers goes with the Phillies. They are getting 108 at home to St. Louis.

Tony LaRussa's Cardinals are no joke with Pujols, Ludwick, Holliday and others but the Phillies at home plus money is always enough for me to give a go. Kyle Kendrick is a solid young kid who has been just fine of late. He is not as hot as Brad Penny but I also do not fully trust the St. Louis righty to keep this pace up.

The Phils have not exactly been playing up to their top level but they are still great with Utley, Howard, Victorino, Ibanez, Polanco, Werth and others and in the City of Brotherly Love plus some money is fine with me. I don't care if they haven't fared well all the time in this spot, ala game one of this series, it's still a no-brainer as these guys went to the World Series last year and won it all the year before.

Trusting either bullpen is not easy and especially not ours but Penny is going to get hit by our great left-handed bats and in the end I'll back the Fightin's here in this spot to pull it out as they did last night.

The pick: Philadelphia

San Antonio Spurs at Phoenix Suns – Wednesday at 9:00 p.m. ET

Pardon the pun, but the Suns are on fire. They took down the Spurs in Game 1, winning 111-102, which continued a fantastic run. They’ve been tearing it up at the bookmaker going 8-2 both straight up and against the spread. Phoenix is also taking care of business at home—the team is 8-1-1 in its last 10 games at home.

The Spurs may have advanced to the second round, but they’re not playing particularly against the spread right now. They failed to cover against the Suns on Monday, dropping them to 5-4-1 against the spread in their past 10 games. Game 2 looks like trouble; not only have the Suns dominated on home court, San Antonio has struggled on the road, covering just four times in its last 10 road games.

This game has Phoenix written all over it. The Suns have been dominant on NBA odds, especially against the spread.

Pick: Phoenix

WEDNESDAY'S PICK
The Greek Syndicate has a 25 Dime play on Phoenix in tonigho's game against San Antonio. As this play is releasead at 11:30 AM Eastern, the Suns are -2 1/2 points at the majority of books both in Vegas and offshore, although I do see a -3 at one location. No matter your price, I suggeot you buy down the 1/2 point on the Suns.

Doea he have Russian, Chinese, African, Jewish, Catholic, Protestant, etc.Syndicates, also? @)
