Road teams went 10-5 in MLB last night. If you bet $100 on each visitor's moneyline Tuesday, you'd be up $689. MLB road teams 51-44 L7 days.

Diamondbacks vs. Padres
Play: Under 7½

The Padres are 7-1 under at night. Arizona has gone under 5 of the last 6 here in San Diego. Greinke goes for the Diamondbacks and he has pitched under in 3 of his last 4 road starts and 9 of 10 here in San Diego. Chacin for the Padres has pitched under in 7 of 9 April home starts and 5 of 8 at home vs Arizona and the last 3 times as a home dog. Look for a low scoring game in this one.

Orioles at Reds
Pick: Over

It has been a tough go for vet Bronson Arroyo, looking to make it back after two years sidelined by injuries. But with a 9.90 ERA in his first two starts, Arroyo is quickly running out of rope to stick in the Reds' rotation. Baltimore's heavy hitting lineup is an especially bad matchup, and figures to push this one "over" in the 1970 World Series rematch at Great American Ballpark tonight!

MLB | SFO vs KC
Play on: UNDER 8 -110

If the oddsmaker tricked me by making this total 8 instead of 7 1/2 than I congratulate him because he got my money. Because I certainly can't see more than seven runs being scored here even though there will be about a 10-15 mph wind blowing out to left. The Royals achieved the near impossible on Tuesday: They made washed-up Matt Cain look good. The Giants won that game with Cain, 2-1, in 11 innings. Now the Royals draw Madison Bumgarner. Bumgarner could be the second-best lefty in baseball behind only Clayton Kershaw depending on how you feel about Chris Sale. Bumgarner has 24 strikeouts in 21 innings this season. Opponents are batting .222 against him. Kansas City is last in the majors in runs scored and third-from-the-bottom in batting average. The Royals haven't scored more than three runs in six of their last seven games. The Giants have managed just five runs in their last three games. They've been held to three runs or less in five of their past seven games. Royals starter Jason Vargas hadn't been healthy in two years. Now he's finally 100 percent again and has looked sharp in two starts giving up just one run in 13 2/3 innings with 14 strikeouts. He's backed by one of the best defensive teams in baseball. Perhaps it's somewhat of a coincidence, but the under has cashed in Vargas' last nine starts. The under has also cashed in eight of the last nine games John Tumpane has been behind the plate. He's slated to be the home plate umpire today.

MLB | Diamondbacks vs Padres
Play on: Diamondbacks -133 at 5Dimes

I am backing the Arizona Diamondbacks -133 as a Bonus Play for 4/19. The Diamondbacks have started out the season playing much better than they did last season. We are getting them at a great price today with Grienke, their ace, on the Mound. He has been great at Petco Park going 4-1 with a 1.90 ERA. His last 5 starts against the Padres have produced a 3-0 record with a 2.88 ERA. The Padres are in shambles, as they will be all season long. This is a team that just got swept by the Braves. Look for big nights from Paul Goldschmidt (.308) and AJ Pollack (3-4, 1HR). Take Arizona -133 confidently tonight.

Washington @ Toronto
Pick: Washington -145

Washington looks to bounce back from two crushing overtime losses, including blowing a two-goal second period lead on Monday. Braden Holtby made 24 saves for the Capitals before Tyler Bozak scored the game-winner 1:37 into overtime for the Maple Leafs. Washington has won five of its last six road games against winning teams, plus 8-of-11 versus Toronto, and can regain home ice advantage with a win. Holtby is 42-13-6 with a stellar 2.07 goals-against average and .925 save percentage. Toronto has not been a strong defensive team all year, ranked #22 in goals allowed. Washington also has plenty of offensive firepower, scoring three goals in each of the three games. Washington is third in the NHL in goals scored and on the power play. Toronto is just 11-29 against teams with winning percentages of .600 or higher and the Capitals have won 50 of their last 65 games against Atlantic Division teams.

Thunder at Rockets
Play: Thunder +8

I believe after getting crushed by 20 plus points to the Rockets, the Thunder come out and play extremely well, especially Westbrook who will have something to prove from game one’s disappointing display. I like the thunder to keep this game within the number and flirt with a much needed win.
