Tuesday: 5-1 (+22*)
YTD: 53-42 (+38.4*)
10* plays: 3-4

Won all of them last night except the 10*. That's a switch.

I changed my record to accomodate a mistake I made with my Saturday games. I mistakenly recorded a loss as a win. My record and units have been adjusted accordingly.

10* Miss St -3
10*s haven't exactly caught on fire this season yet (last year I started out 9-1) but still I persist. Miss St has won the last 4 against Ole Miss, and there is a greater difference between them this year than last. Bulldogs have a distinct edge in talent, experience, and size. Frontcourt for Rebs goes 6-8, 6-7, and 6-7, while Dawgs go 7-0, 6-9, and 6-8. Dawgs should own the backcourt, especiall with experienced senior Tim Bowers against true freshman Todd Abernathy. I know this is a home game for the Rebs. but can't see them staying with State at this point. Maybe they'll cover in Starkville later on.

7* Vanderbilt -7 (bought half)
I see a double digit victory here.

Maybe more later. Last night got four games over what I expected, and all four won.

NY...what are your thoughts on Minn/PSU. PSU is horrible and just had their second leading scorer quit, but the line keeps dropping. (Down to minny -1')

Wow, you asked the wrong guy that particular question. There are probably a bunch of folks on this board who know more about those two teams than I do. On the other hand, if I get the right info, it could become a play. Who knows? Nothing for now.

I posted this in another place but I thought you may be interested in my take...

"They (MINNY) had trouble with the big 12 teams nebraska and texas tech (@tech) Virginia (@virginia) and utah (@utah), but Penn State doesnt compare to those 4 teams in any way.

Penn State had trouble scoring at home against bucknell, and got wolloped by NM, Temple, rutgers(@home), and Pittsburgh, and had trouble beating Buffalo and St. Francis as well.

I think all they (PSU) have to their name is a one point loss to Georgetown in the season opener(at home).

Minny has been able to take care of the lesser competition and comes into this one NEEDing some hunger and a solid win in order to preface their schedule over the next few weeks which unlike Penn State, contains some games that they at least have a chance to compete in...

I know saying they "need" the game doesn't hold much water, but thats my two cents - take it or leave it."

Hey NY,

LOVE YOUR Miss St pick! Miss doesnt have the old home court advantage that it used to. Already losing its only tough game to Memphis and also losing to Ark St. Miss St should beat them in all facets of the game. Glad we are together!
