Wed RR team picks- No tout zone

Tues recap:
First let's welcome BrokeN to the team. His specialty is the NBA. J2 went 3-0. Irish had the Illini to go 1-0. Vegas 1-0 with the Van o. General gave us Dal 1-0. VG gave us a nice sheep pick going 1-0 and the tout fade went 1-0.

Thanks again to all that contributed. We are all adults here and since this thread started we've had no problems except for yesterday. We are looking for team players to help all. From time to time it may become necessary to help clean the thread up. Yesterday we had a tout in here that gave us a nice fade but later went on bragging and posting records. That type of behavior or flaming of the team is not what we want here. It's the job of all of us to control it.

Wow, this thing builds with more and more credible cappers daily. I will mention it to Shrink and see if he will drop a play off from time to time.

For today I am switching back to the NBA and breaking one of my rules, never lay points on the road. I will do it laying less than 3 from time to time but even that is not recommended. Anyway taking Pistons -2.5 tomorrow. This line is available everywhere and doubt it will move much. Toronto is tough at home and they have covered the number against the Pistons the last 5 games.

However like all good things this too will come to an end. Toronto though they have Carter back in the line-up is still a team that is all beat up. Even the guys playing are not 100%. Plus the Pistons are one of the more underrated teams in the NBA IMO. This is a quality team and I would not be surprised if they are the representative from the East to play San Antonio/LA for all the marbles. Toronto has not covered the number yet in this last homestead, 0-3 so far. We have a shot at them making it 0-4 tomorrow but play it easy, road favs are bad bets in the NBA. Good luck friends.

 

BTW thanks for all your work in this Raiders. This is great for me to just come by here and get plays from the RR guys. I appreciate it even more now that the touts are starting to make this place their home and infiltrate our board with their cocky attitudes......

southeasternconferenceprophet dude, you seem to be missing the spirit of this thread. j2's picks went 3-0 here. not related to the j2fi. understandable that you are feeling embarassed by your inclusion in the j2fi picks (tho i do think its significant he included you as a 'temp' member) but you should take that up in the j2fi thread.

mcirish - i've noticed you and i think a lot alike nbawise, that game was the first one i circled as well. looks like you wrong about the line holding tho as there have been some early jumpers on the -2.5 side and now seeing 3s out there (perhaps your legions of followers here and across the street) also might note that according to wagerline anyway, after an abyssmal start to the season, road faves holding their own last 30 days at 25-25 (i think that was thru monday) looking at the card as a whole i wouldn't be surprised if all the road faves took on money today.

Funny thing is I did go 3-0 in this thread (Georgia, WV, Memphis) SECprophet and I can assure you I didn't take Georgia because of you. lmao I went into yesterday loving Georgia before I ever saw the line. Why would I follow someone who is quite possibly on a temporary worst streak in the forum. Most of my picks that I post in this thread are usually my picks and not fades of anyone, although sometimes they could end up being the same. The reason I don't fade all of your picks is because on some games I have no opinion or I may lean towards the side you have chosen. Not too mention I usually pick out 3 or 4 games or more that I personally like, and when I see my <students> pick certain games as their plays for the day, I then <cap> that specific game myself and come out with what I think of the particular side. Get it. There are also more than just you 3 on my <fading list>, but just 3 of you I post on here. I then use a consensus of what my <students> like and that's how I come up with SOME of my fades for JFI. I'd be here forever trying to explain the other way I get fades from my <students>. What makes it difficult to understand about me playing my own plays and me fading certain plays of my <students>? The record is there for you to look at in my JFI thread. What seems to irritate you and <tiger> alike is the fact of I pick and choose the games I fade, and when I win on those games, he always felt it was a false representation of what I was trying to do. I never asked <tiger> how I should run JFI and I don't plan on asking any of my other <students>. I certainly hope you are not becoming bitter like <tiger> is. I know he hates to see me win money at the expense of him... GL

this play is based on that injury status for juventus. allmost all starters are out due to a flu bug, or injuries. uefa turned down juventus' demand for game to be postponed, so it will be played as scheduled.

i believe this game will either go off the board or the odds will be ajusted very soon.

olympic has it at -125, and i-wetten took it off the board (euro bookie)

Ball St +8 but hurry line is dropping.Playing a lot better now, I think line should be +5, they hammer the boards should keep it close. Only concern I have is they don't shoot very well and you don't want to go cold on the road, just ask Mich st last night. Ball ST hammers the Offensive boards, keeps this one close, I think?

Byron Dafoe strained his left groin during warmups for Monday's 4-3 overtime victory over the Buffalo Sabres. Frederic Cassivi made 24 saves in his place after being recalled from the minors on Sunday. He was called up because regular backup Pasi Nurminen strained his left groin in Saturday's 6-2 loss to Detroit. Cassivi has a 5-6-1 record, a 3.22 GAA and an .888 save percentage in 14 games with Chicago of the American Hockey League this season.
This bodes well for a shootout at the Lightning palace tonight.

I just saw squad of Juventus and they are going to play with 4-5-1 system. For those who don't know nothing about soccer this means:

Under 2.5 goals is very probable here
