To start off the season Celtic have signed Tony Mowbray from West Brom to lead the team. Celtic has had an impressive off season and figure to be scoring a lot of goals based on their performances to date. The only losses in their preseason contests were 0-1 to Dinamo who they came back to beat to go through in CL qualifying and Premier League sides Sunderland and Man City. I was somewhat concerned that they may be resting some players (I know it sounds odd) because of the CL qualifer with Arsenal on Tuesday, but due to the fact that it is early in the year they should be eager to get off to a good start. Aberdeen on the other had dont figure to be as good this year as they were last year, they played absolutely horribly in the Europa League against a team called Sigma Olomouc, I had to go to wikipedia to determine that they are Czech club. I dont see any down side to taking Celtic tomorrow morning and laying the -170. Lineup isnt out yet, but I dont think it makes any difference. Hopefully, I will get this season started out on the right foot.

Relatively easy opener for Celtic with 2 goals be McGeady and 1 my McDonald in the first half to put away Aberdeen. Reacord goes to 1-0.

Couple of plays this weekend. First play is Celtic over 3 goals (-140) at St. Johnstone, after the frustrating Tuesday match with Arsenal I would fully expect Celtic to come out and attack the entire game. St. Johnstone was promoted from the 1st Division this season and anyone that watch Scottish Soccer knows that the First division is a far cry from what the Championship is in England. I fully expect Celtic to win going away. However, the over in this game is the value bet so you aren't laying -550 on Celtic to win. Second play of the weekend is another value bet with Dundee United (qualified for europe) over St. Mirren commonly perceived to be among the worst teams in the SPL. Dundee playing at home at a price of +120 makes this a nice play in my opinion. BOL to everyone this weekend.

you got it the wrong way around: Celtic is playing at home vs. St.Johnstone and Dundee is playing away at St.Mirren

Ehhh... lackluster performance from Dundee... Celtic hit the old onion bag for 5. 2-1 on the year going to lay -150 on Rangers tomorrow, probably with the over. Will update that tonight.

I am gonna play Rangers on Saturday... Celtic off to a 2-0 start is going to put pressure on Rangers even if its game 2 of the season. Hearts might be the 3rd or 4th best team in Scotland in my opinion, but I dont think it matters, Rangers are too stacked.

Stole one there playing down a man from the 13th minute on and getting a 90th minute penalty by Boyd to take this one. Record is 3-1 to start the year.

Guys, 3 plays for Saturday, running a little short on time so there will be no analysis Aberdeen -105, Dundee -175 and Rangers over 3 -140. Best of luck to everyone this weekend.
