Expected to rain all during those two games...anyone have the latest?

Thanks
Another storm is settling in now to the west coast, and the Frisco area should have wet stuff through out the day.

Weather.com says there's a 10% chance of rain tonight in the San Diego area. Im about 100 miles North of SD, clear and sunny right now, sure doesn't look like it will rain today, but who knows for sure.

I live in the Anaheim area. It is a partly sunny day. No immediate threat of rain. No rain until late Friday.

Weather should not be an issue at the Cal/Tex Tech game.

I live right in the S.F. Bay Area and in San Francisco and San Jose where each of the two bowl games are being played, it is currently very lightly raining with temperatures in the mid 50's. There is very little wind.

SBC Park where the Emerald Bowl will be played is the home of the SF Giants and is a baseball stadium designed to block the wind, which it does extremely well. The other side is open to the Bay (McCovey Cove) and shouldn't be a factor. The question will be more about the field condition and whether or not it was protected. Since it has been raining all week here, suspect that it was protected but still will be wet and somewhat soft. ESPN just reported to expect up to 40 mile an hour winds. Don't believe it! There is currently very little wind and the game is an hour and a half away.

Spartan Stadium where the Silicon Valley Bowl will be played is the home of San Jose State. Although the peninsula is usually drier then S.F., the game is scheduled for 8:00 p.m. PST and the weather conditions could change by then as that is 8 hours from now. I'll update this thread later as the game draws closer.

Weather Update Emerald Bowl

I'm four blocks from the stadium and there's a break in the weather and the sun has come out. Don't know how long it's going to last but it's not raining here in the City.
