Only way I could ever see something like this happening in real life is there was a world war where several countries used a lot of their nuclear weapons......or a volcano eruption of epic proportions or an asteroid hitting the earth......all 3 events would block out the sun.
But I can't see it happening from climate change the way most supposed experts think it can.
I think it's happened that way already, hence we have fossilized dinosaurs
