I agree to a point... BUT, if they need fudning so bad, how are they able to just donate millions upon millions to campaigns year after year?

I thought you were going to post the Washington Secret is revealed.......

State waivers to ignore some coverage standards that “Obamacare” requires of insurers

These were 10 Standards Starting 1-1-14 "all" policies were required to include

1. Ambulatory Patient Services
2. ER Services
3. Maternity Care
4. MH and Substance Health Treatment
5. Prescribs
6. Rehabilative
and habiitative services
7. Lab services
8.Preventive/Wellness services
9. Hospitilazation
10.Pediatric involving oral/vision care

Question is will anyone read this "Bill" before voting on, NO!

Bottom Line... Now that these are 10 standards are going to be waived not required, Give everyone the Insurance they had prior to 1-1-14 and Drain The Swamp!

If this is Federal Program, why are States being given Waivers??

I have no dog in this fight since I'm already saddled with a form of
Government healthcare. However if the Republican brand of healthcare
doesn't offer more for less why are they bothering?

I mean isn't that the reason for this circle jerk?

And don't tell me it's hard to do. Just revert back to the healthcare
system we had prior to October 1, 2013, add mandatory coverage for
preexisting conditions when you change providers, the ability to
buy across state lines and let the capitalistic market place do it's
thing.

These politicians are making it more complicated than it needs to be.

This sums it up nicely. Michelle Cottle TheAtlamtc

Health care warriors, saddle up! This promises to be a wild weekend on Capitol Hill—and for anyone with skin in the repeal-and-replace-Obamacare game.

After days and weeks of breathless anticipation, Senate Republican Leader Mitch McConnell is set to release a “discussion draft” of his chamber’s version of the wildly controversial (read: unpopular) AHCA. To clarify: What McConnell’s dropping is not an actual bill, with the devilish details of a plan laid out in expansive, if largely impenetrable legislatese.

A discussion draft can be as specific or as vague as the leader sees fit, and vanishingly few outside of McConnell’s office know for certain what to expect: A document resembling actual legislation? A reasonably meaty outline? A smattering of bullet points beefed up with meaningless slogans and cheery photos of senior citizens frolicking in fields of prescription drugs?

No matter. When the draft hits, it will set in motion a Capitol Hill and K Street freakout, as aides, lobbyists, and other outside interest groups rush to read, analyze, and respond to whatever the heck McConnell has handed them—mindful that the Majority Leader has vowed to hold a vote on the bill before Congress skips town for the July 4th recess late next week.
The clock, as they say, is ticking. Fast.

I'm thinking there is a cluster fuck on the horizon.

Are you not paying attention?
Here's the question: Trump campaigned that everyone would be covered, and it would be a "lot less expensive." Will he deliver?

So let's suppose he says that everyone who makes above X has to pay for their own care, but are under no obligation to do so.

Meanwhile, everyone who makes less than X who is not truly incapable of providing for themselves will be offered coverage...as long as they are enrolled in a work seeking program. No free lunch, and everyone gets covered in that scenario.

You good with that?

I think this new heathcare bill is going to be another dud....I hope Im wrong....Why not just repeal Obamacare & let it back the way it was?....Is it the ultimate law of the land the govt has to be involved or what?....They say they are using healthcare as a political pawn now thanks to the communist democrat party....

If that would work. Great. My issue is that Drumph said he had a plan which would be less expensive and provide more coverage. Obviously he was lying, one of the MANY lies, in order to get elected. All the idiot Drumph supporters just don't get it.

My other issue is that the Republicans have had 7 fucking years to correct Obamacare and have done nothing.

The lies Trump has spewed pale in comparison to the lies and deception that the American people were told to pass this monstrosity.

I hear the 7 year to change Obamacare argument, usually from uninformed sheep so it is disappointing to hear you mention it. Any change to Obamacare was DOA. He would have vetoed any legislation to change his signature law. If anyone truly wants to disagree with that, there is not a whole lot to say. This was one of the biggest scams pulled on the American people in modern times. They had to beg, borrow and bribe members of their own party to pass the law. It was so disliked it cost the D's both houses as a result.

Obamacare essentially led to the current state of the Democratic Party and they don't get it.

You are absolutely correct in that its passage lead to the Dems suffering losses in the 3 subsequent elections since it was passed and they don't get it.

My point was not that Repubs could have gotten anything changed while he was in office but they have had seven years to figure out whatever their replacement plan was going to be. Further Drumph lead on that he actually had a plan. Well it's obvious, the party didn't and neither did he.

So now they will pass some other shitty form and they will loose many seats next year in lections.

Maybe but the map favors the R's. If the economy is good and the D's continue down the Pelosi path, the R's may pick up seats. The media and D's are focusing way too much on the Russian distraction and obstructing Trump......something that may end up hurting them in the long run.

Pelosi and her cronies have done more long term damage to the Democratic Party than Nixon ever did to the Republican Party. They refuse to accept the fact that they are out of touch and until that leadership changes, the Dems will be the minority party. Dems still blames Comey and the Russians for the 2016 loss and not the fact that they had an out of touch, unlikable candidate. Play on D's, play on

Would have been a more valid statement if you had put it that way....

Former WH COC Andy Card said yesterday the following (paraphrasing)

"The current Affordable Care Act as it stands is unsustainable."

"The bill to replace the current affordable care act is also unsustainable."
