The Jets lost Chad Pennington for most of the season - so year old Vinny will probably start- now Vinny is a good, and wily QB - but he's been relegated to backup because he's getting old and can't play 4 effective quarters any more. Meanwhile, the Jets special temas was decimated during free agency with kicker John Hall and return man Chad Morton going to thewse very 'Skins, along with the Jets premier reciever Laverneusse Coles. None of these postions were filled with the caliber of player that was lost.
You can expect the Jets to suffer poor field position while Vinny will lack another familiar face to throw the ball to.
Couple this along with Hermans terrible starting record, being 3-4 in his first seven in '01 and 2-5 in his first seven in '02, and you have the makings for a Washington win.
