Two different games. Caps shot themselves in the foot several times in the first taking bad penalties, (delay of game, too many men), and gave up 3 PP goals to the Pens. Theodore is a liability and looked lost several times during the game.

But the cream did rise to the top and Washington dominated 5 on 5 and clearly showed which of these two teams is the better, at this point of time.

Tip of the cap to Savant. Let's do it again real soon.

good call VegasVic. I've been faithfully following your plays on the sbr spreadsheet, and washington was the only one i intentionally decided not to play - i considered pit -1.5 at +235 i think, but didn't in the end. so anyway, i was feeling pretty good when it was 3-0 for pit in the 3rd. nice comeback! i'm bummed out I missed out on the canucks pick too!

Thanks Kirk. Sorry you didn't play along but they'll be plenty more to come. I feel confident that this year will be a very good one. For a heads up...check out the notes column on the spreadsheet and it will give you a idea of where I'm leaning for the immediate future.
