Will say this as a disclaimer: had 0 dollars on this game. Nothing on the total, nothing on the side, nothing on the money line, and no vested interest in either team as a football fan.

God this game was lopsided for the Dallas Cowboys. I was drinking, so maybe I am completely in the wrong here, but seemed EVERY single big call went Dallas' way. If the Eagles made a big play, which they made plenty of if you re-watch, got called back. The Ellis Hobbs TD run was unexplainable. In the end, the penalty yardage was even, but it was after huge Eagles plays got overturned, they would call a meaningless penalty on Dallas that really did not affect the game one way or the other. I was really surprised to see the game officiated the way it was, on national TV to boot..

I had Dallas, and I am also a bit surprised at some at the calls that were made, the 4th down call especially...
Not that I'm complaining with the outcome lol

I think the cowboys had 10 penalties, you can say that about both sides. What about the pi no call in the endzone right before half. Dallas had to settle for a fg after that.

As I said about the penalties.. they were even in the box score, but the plays they were called on for the 2 sides were night and day. Philadelphia got some TERRIBLE spot calls too. I though McNabb had that 1st down by at least a yard

There's a whole lot of "rigging" going on in the NFL.
It's the way things are in professional sports
(after all, the owners are running a business).

Just [be] on the side that has been "rigged" and you'll be just fine.

I don't think the game was rigged, but i think there was a terrible crew out there tonight. They were missing calls left and right and then over-compensating when they realized they might have fucked up.

At the end of the day the Eagles just didn't show up. Play calling was absolutely awful. A team that throws 75% of the time comes in against one of the league worst pass D's on the road and they only throw 56% of the time! With there stud RB on the sidelines nonetheless!

Not to mention McNabb was all over the place tonight. His guys were wide open a lot tonight and his was missing them terribly. Game is over now thought... on to the next one.

BOL to all!

This can be an interesting theme upon occasion.

But when we're getting a thread (or two or three) in this vein posted after every night time nationally televised game, it's pretty tired.

11 penalties Dallas
8 penalties Phila

questionable calls on both sides, especially for pass interference, and non-calls

McNabb's 4th down spot was made where it was because his forward progress was stopped, then he rolled forward after whistle, that is the rule...one of the least controversial calls of the night
