Pitt works in a "grinding" environment IMO and it's hard for them to get a spot on ppl's eyes. With injures on the team also you never want to risk having Ben go down along or anyone else.

Willie doesn't seem like his #'s are the stellar #'s we're used to either...

Me personally i cant stand teams with god awful offensive lines. Cowboys, Steelers, hawks, are all equally putrid on their offensive lines.

There is no way i could pick a team with lines that bad.

Isnt big ben leading the whole league in sacks?

The Colts currently have a horrible offensive line and they are in your top 4.

all factors considered they are the second best team int he Afc..

(i have to explain, i tried to pick two teams from both divisions)

2 weeks ago i wouldnt pick the colts. But they are getting better, Manning has a few more games under his belt (remember he missed preseason)

But they are getting better. I stand by that pick for now. Until a team in the AFC steps up.

Not sure what kind of rankings are being asked for here, but I will just give who I think the four best teams in the league are.

1. Dallas
2. Indy
3. San Diego
4. Green Bay/Washington

In my opinion those are the best teams. I would take any one of those five at a pk line on a neutral field over any team not on that list. And yes, that means I would take Wash or GB to beat NYG, Tennessee or Pittsburgh. It wouldn't be a blowout and it could certainly go the other way, but imo Wash/GB would win more often than not.

The original posters question was right NOW. So this is where I see it now, and it could change by monday.

Tenn
Pitt
NYG
Redskins
Buccs

I argued in the other thread about why dallas isnt in there, because he asked right now.

I would have to think great "D" mixed with dependable QB & great run gm.

1. TEN (no Young starting)
2. TB
3. ARI
4. NYG

DAL takes first prize for most overrated team, with SD taking 2nd.

Jags lost all those Offensive linemen in the first game at Tenn. Their second game they were still trying to figure out who would fill in where. Since then they have gone 3-1 with a game they could of won on the last drive at home. Jags will beat next 6 opponents in a row after bye week and end up with a record of 11-5 or 12-4. Put em in your top 5 peeps

Methinks who is "best right now" means absolutely NOTHING :nohead:

P.S. Losman is not the QB for the Bills, the Redskins are more like the team that lost to the Rams than beat the Cowboys, the Cowboys will still be 11-5 or 12-4 and win the East, and the Cardinals are, well, the Cardinals.

you are right the "right now" rankings dont mean much, but half of the espn powerrankings are based on the "right now" factor, as in, who is playing well, who is playing bad teams right now(look no further than the giants in the powerrankings then lose to cleveland) etc.

You are right about the Cowboys, because with that squad healthy, they win the last 7 games of the season, however, right now they are hurt so i am going to rank as if the playoffs started right now with every team in the league, the top 4 finishers in my eyes would be

1. Titans
2. Steelers
3. Buccaneers
4. Colts

Love the NFC East but I think the Giants are very overrated I think the Redskins are a good team but when you cant beat the rams even when portis runs for his third straight 100+ something is wrong. Cowboys have their injury problems(alot of them) and the Eagles didnt win that game, the 49ers lost it.

yep time to revise your choices gentlemen. At least for week 7

I will go

1.titans
2. Bucs
3. Steelers (i cant believe i am doing this)
4.Arizona.
5.bills.

I am dissappointed in myself. All week long i have been going on about how the colts had a deceptive win against the ravens. I even thought they would have another deceptive win against an injury laden packers defense, and they couldnt even pull that off. Manning throws 2 pick 6's to back ups.
Now he is taking that ugly show on the road to Nashville on monday night? Yeah, good luck with that one.

Chargers are of course turning out to be the complete fraud every one had them pegged for except for a few homers.

Bills also have only one loss and are looking good. I think they have something to build on.

It turns out that the NFC east is one of the biggest freakin pretender ladden division out there. The entire division collectively bought into their own hype!

Thats my take on week 7.

As of WEEK 7:

TITANS
BUCS
PANTHERS
PACKERS

Bears should be given some recognition as I think they will be able to hang with the best still. Packers just seem to get it still so I have to leap them over because of their talent.

I have NO QUESTION about my top 3 right now.

At least we agree on the top 2 teams. (not sold on the panthers, i still see them as a fraudalent team that has been cupcake teams but folds as soon as the big boys show up.

Same thing with the packers.(who got beat but the Falcons.:puke1:)
