WU payouts are pretty much a thing of the past. If you can withdraw up to $1000 a day everyday Monday thru Friday by Neteller at a book for FREE (WagerWeb) why would you even consider Western Union withdrawals. Books like Pinnacle, CRIS, Olympic and many others don't send WU withdrawals anymore. The cost of sending money WU is not cheap even for individuals. I sent $250 to someone yesterday and it cost me a $30 WU fee. I did it myself and didn't have to hire anyone to do it add that to the cost and the process is not worth the effort when you have Neteller among other services available. Bottom line WU withdrawals are a convienience for players who may need money outside of their banking apparatus of which Neteller is part of.

Wil..believe it or not... not everyone has neteller nor wants to give some gaming company their personal details such as SS# DL# and every thing else under the sun.

And whoever told you Pinny, Cris, and Oly do not do western union payouts flat out LIED to you.

I have recieved WU payouts from both pinnacle and oly this month. WU is great when you want to take a little money out to go up to best buy and blow on a new toy.

Tired of people thinking neteller is the best thing since sliced bread and people who do not use it are retards. (not saying you are saying that)

when sending, i use WU because the books pick up fees and it gets there fast.. when withdrawing, i sometimes still use WU. i get the money the same day and i simply look at the fees -- as a part of doing business... i traded stocks and commodities for years and used a full service broker (yrs ago) and the commission that they charged -- was a part of doing business.... I paid $25rt for full service commodity trade and at times still use it... Nothing like getting your money in your hands in a couple of hours...

Wagerweb has changed many of their policies. The new policies as explained to me are the follolwing:

1. New accounts and reloads are 10% bonus (5x rollover)

2. They say they pay for all transfer fees by WU for any amount you send (used to be $250 or more)

3. They do not give 1 free payout a month anymore. You can also only WD 1000 a day.

4. You can now withdrawal by neteller for more than you sent in. Also, Neteller withdrawals are free.

Some people might not like their new policies, but I have played with them a lot over the years, and have never had any problems with them. A very solid book....

Like I said:

Personally I use bank transfers directly into my bank account which has 2 debit cards - one local and one international. I can be anyhere in the world and get a bank transfer and axcess the money with my international debit card or be at the local super market and use the withdrawal to buy groceries with the local debit card. Of course my bank is not a US bank.

As far as Pinnacle or Olympic I am only going by their website rules, I did not call and ask. If you made special deals that is fine with me. Still they must charge you something for the service. I have a personal rule that I always use my own real name ALL the time when dealing with books, banks, and other financial institutions like Western Union.

A problem that is not discussed much is handling cash in Latin America, while necessary it has become more and more dangerous over the last few years. Costa Rica is a melting pot of mostly honest but not all races from surronding countries like Columbia, Nicaragua, and others. Sending 30 or 40 WU withdrawals a day requires a lot of caution, and intelligent operatives which costs money.

My advice to you if you have to use Western Union withdrawals and find some books more expensive than others to withdraw is to play at the cheaper withdrawal books. BTW Sooner or later ID will be required for all WU withdrawals in the US as it is already in the rest of the world. You cannot pick up a $50 WU anywhere in South America without an ID.

up to $60

I could be wrong but I remember asking them about the withdrawl fees.

I believe, please check for yourself, that the $60 is the FEE they cover.

My question to them was directed at neteller (also shows a fee), but I believe it applies to WU as well.

Noreaga Express Money Transfer is a Money Gram and part of Travelers Express Co. Western Union while similar to Money Gram is a different company. Semantics maybe but still a different service.

I will tell you what next time someone sends you a Money Gram go down to a Western Union office and try to collect it. Like I said it is semantics or language for sending money from one person to another but still two different companies as much as Coke and Pepsi are selling cola but are different companies using different names. The point is Olympic uses Money Gram and does not use Western Union. The net effect is the the same you get your money at the local wal-mart or 7-11 and do what you want with it.
