Rams have no draft picks after this deal. They better win the Super Bowl soon and I'm talking about this year or the next or they face a rebuilding that will take a very long time. You can go the free agent route but that rarely works. Not with the QB already a large portion of the cap. It can be done. Tampa Bay went for it and won it all. So did Denver with Peyton. There are countless other times where it didn't.
