Every single sportsbook that I have seen uses it and ICE is not doing it (nor do
I think its capable of doing that at the moment)

Once again is that talking about incoming or outgoing? I heard two books say it doesn't work for calls coming into CR, but works fine going out. They said you can get through a few times and then suddenly the calls stop connecting.

To be specific in the answer about ICE itself I don't know

But RACSA (which is owned by ICE) provides internet to amnet/cable tica

Under amnet/cable tica both incoming/outgoing works perfectly

btw even if ICE would be actively monitoring packets that go back/forth (unlikely to me) the economic benefits are such that a book can very easily have an encrypted tunnel to a server located anywhere in the world and nobody could tell whats going through the tunnel as its encrypted (have never tried it with voip traffic but dont see a reason why it cant be done)

It works for both incoming and outgoing calls. Whether it is Ice, Racsa, Amnet or Cabletica, does not matter - no calls are being blocked.

As to what Wolfie said, it is possible to encrypt - we do it currently for a few Virtual Private Network customers, the main reason being security no so much as to keep it disguised from ICE.
