Minnesota will win the division with this win tonight and get their asses kicked next week at home vs. Seattle

Sure makes sense to me.....not your goal should be to win the super bowl and having the "BEST" path to attain that goal should be
what you do... Not get the division title and play a more difficult team for winning it and then getting blasted at home by said team

@ Green Bay is a much easier game than home vs. Seahawks....

Vikings will lose to Seattle no doubts.... They know they match up against Green Bay much better than Seattle...

Winning tonight pretty much guarantees the Vikings are one and done in the playoffs

this is the best comment in the thread.
sure i agree with some of u to some extent play to win, but they have zero matchup adv next week except for maybe running back. sea better qb. better d. better offense etc.etc

Minnesota just won their Super Bowl tonight! They're happy beating Green Bay and know they're going no farther!

The Vikings had to play to win tonight. If they lost to Green Bay they would risk losing to them 3 times in one season, that would be unbearable. The ultimate goal is the Super Bowl and you can't be afraid of anyone on the path. I'm a diehard Viking fan but a realistic one, this team is a year away from being a threat to the big boys, tonight was an ugly win by two teams who are slightly above average because most of the league is below average. For the Vikes it's babysteps and they have a lot to build around and if they get their ass whipped by Seattle again then I hope it makes them make the changes they need to make to get better and beat them the following season.

You must've never played sports. Anyone who is a competitor plays to win not be a loser or afraid of anyone.

i understand ur point and it is a monkey off their back to beat a longtime div rival...but at the same time they just sealed their fate at their funeral next week. i went with seattle 42-10

It won't be that bad this time around, I'm not expecting a Viking win but their 3 best defensive players were out and they were playing with two backup safeties in a game that snowballed by half. If Joseph is playing it will help, Vikes secondary matches up fairly well with Seattle's Receivers, I just don't know how the Vikings are going to score. They have no downfield passing Game. I'm thinking 24 - 10 something like that and low scoring.

4.5= 7.5 on neut and 10.5 at home. seems like a correct line to me and btw the highest line of all the other wildcard games.

I don't think rogers wanted to win today. did you see some of those passes. he doesn't want any part of seattle. he wouldn't last the game with that defense line

they would never play seattle unless they were the last 2 in the nfc. still...ariz will beat gb's ass again should they beat the skins. they are lost without their depth. would be diff for them with a healthy bunch but that o line is now much worse than seattle's
