Guys I get these once in a while its the worst, I have been checked over, had stress tests, my Heart (resting 50BPM), Cholesterol (very good) all checks out fine, but there is nothing more frustrating, and not much you can do as these are normal, my doctor siuggested I not work out so much!

I seem to get these most when i exercise like afreak (which i have been doing all summer) between , weights, swimming, biking, I have really been going at it hard, the downside is these palpitations, they usually only last a short period, combine that with caffeine, and stress of these daily games....

:monsters-

I will go 6-8 months without them, then boom they will pop up, but its usually in the late summer months when i am at my peak in all of the above mentioned habits!

I had a similar problem, even had a Halter Monitor on for 24 hours to monitor heart activity. I found out I was drinking a sugar free ice tea lemonade that contained caffiene. I immediately stopped drinking it, and have been very careful not to consume any caffiene, since then no palpatations, been a good month now.

good to hear they have subsided Wil, I remember that and thought about that when you mentioned it.

I rarely get them but when i do its a very freaky, I only get them on occasion like 1 here and there, its very obvious when it happens, you can't miss it... I was surprised to find out rigorous exercise can be a contributor, I drink coke and the caffeine in it adds up, especially at night...and that is usually when i get them, it will be like one beat here and there maybe 5-10 on the night, nothing else, no pains or anything.

Its not that I need caffeine for a burst of energy either, I may switch to caffeine free , then I will have to watch out for headaches, as it takes time to get over that caffeine withdrawl in your system.
