I would never buy points, it's like buying insurance in blackjackor life for that matter), it's a loosing proposition, even though at times it saves the day.....-3 is MUCH different from -3.5....But IMHO if you don't have a clear play with the money line don't bet the game there are lots of games and if you don;t see it as a CLEAR WINNER don't bet ...do the math it is a loosing proposition.
Besides if you tare playing a a game that a couple cpoints could swing it one way or another you are IMHO not doing it right.....there are oplenty of games where buying 15 pts wouldn;t make a damn but of differemnce so if you feel you have to buy opts, IMHO pass on the game......go to rthe beach, have a beer, get laid, and come back and play another ggame that;s not in doubt
