Colorado is a trainwreck this season and if you don’t believe me, just wait until the next time they take the field. I’ll talk the talk but the Buffaloes will walk the walk, just as they did last week when they were crushed, 54-7, by Washington. Colorado is now 1-10 straight up and a money-burning 2-9 against the number.
Look, I realize laying an absurd number of points on the road is a recipe for disaster over the long haul but I would need about two touchdowns more to make me even contemplate betting on Colorado. Consider Utah is averaging over 37 points per game while Colorado is allowing 43 points per game.
We should expect the Utes, as the 16th-ranked offense in the nation, to put up 50 points here which is more than enough to cover the 29 ½ point impost. Utah is 5-1 ATS against Colorado over their last six meetings and this looks like more of the same.
