Prosecutors cited insufficient evidence against the 19-year-old athlete.
Sanchez was arrested on suspicion of committing sexual assault at the Cardinal Gardens apartment complex near campus, according to the LAPD. Investigators said a female USC student alleged that she was sexually assaulted at 12:30 a.m. <TABLE class=storyAd cellSpacing=0 cellPadding=0 width="100%" border=0><TBODY><TR><TD class=storyAdObj>

The 6-foot-4, 215-pound Sanchez, a graduate of Mission Viejo High School, redshirted during the 2005 season and is second on the team's depth chart behind John David Booty heading into the upcoming season.
Sanchez was placed on "interim suspension" while the case was pending, according to school officials.<!--stopindex-->

I know that this is Conan and WC Bias territory but as a SC alumnus I'm pretty stoked on this news.

Stoked????????????

You should hang your head in fucking shame for celebrating this. Your player RAPED that girl.....he was just able to get around the system.

What are they teaching you people out in California......it's okay to fuck a woman while she's screaming stop?

No evidence of force or any damage in her apartment. The little skank was probably setting herself up for a lawsuit against the school. I heard she likes her dick too. She probably wanted to be made love to but she got fucked instead. To girls like her, it wasn't a rape until he left. Too bad he got away... that pisses them off.

But now look at what she's done, she'll never make cheerleader. Wanna bet all her friends want to meet him?

If you don't think booster's are on both ends of these thing with wads of money then your head is in the freaking sand. Police back off and girl is convinced that it will go no where in court and her friends tell her she is going to cost them the season and so she does not pursue it any further. If you don't think this happens then you need to take a permanent nap. People are persuaded by money and pressure every day and last time I looked college football had some money in it.

Of course I could be completley wrong and everything in this world is perfect and money along with pressure from others makes no difference in what we do. How silly of me to even think this thought.

So you were there? You KNOW what he did and did not do? Did you know that there are cameras that have him leaving a bar roughly fifteen minutes before the alleged rape? Did you know that two witnesses have him helping them move a broken down car at the time of the alleged rape? Guilty til proven innocent huh? Sorry not in California you're not.

The funny thing is how USC is the target these days. Remember when WE not LSU got fucked out of the Championship bowl? Remember when WE were not allowed to have Mike Williams reinstated to return to College despite early rulings that it was okay to leave early for the draft? But yep USC buys its way around all issues. Lets not forget that there is still the Dwayne Jarrett incident and the infamous Reggie Bush college fund. For me to be "stoked" because they didnt have anything on this guy isn't wrong in the least bit. :toast:

Dude you are SOOOO right. It sucks in a lot of ways. Get all the reports against your team. "All eyes on me". You see all the bandwagon fans jump on and off. You take all the shots of the haters. You basically just have to watch games at home, cause everyone hopes you will blow your perfect season vs. their team. Its still fun, and I wouldn't have traded the last three years for anything,,,,BUT its not like it was when youre just playing for a bowl game vs the whole fucking thing.

Just beat USC on the field and leave it at that.... if you want to or if you can. Nobody there is any guiltier than anyone else. I suppose all the most honorable people live elsewhere. I ain't buyin it.
