Kei really impressed me today. If not for injuries he could, and some day will, be a top 25 player in the world. Alek just didn't bring it today. Lindsay wasn't overly impressive, Wozniak just gave her the match with tons of errors.

When they first cut to that match I thought it was mens action until I saw Elena. She looks manly enough on her good days, but then she decides to go with the hat and shades to top off the look. Elena is pretty good looking already, but up against Akgul she looked like friggen Angelina Jolie.

Two tight matches that both had me worried for a little while, but in the end both results were W's. Nice little comeback by Tamira in the final set to win the final four games for the match. She was actually down two break points in the final game, but was able to rally and win the match in deuce. Melzer/Lopez was a tight m

Perry actually broke Zheng two or three times, but couldn't hold serve at all tonight. Will look at fading Jie again in her next match, depending on the opponent.

Two matches left and both are toss ups at this point. Worst case scenario I end up 4-4, but still up a tenth of a unit for the day, with both future plays advancing.

Coco has some nice raw talent, just too many unforced errors for her to stay competitive against someone of Jelena's caliber. She's only 17 though and could make some noise on tour in a couple of years. She has a good coach in Van't Hoff, the same guy that coached Lindsay when she was younger. Just needs some more experience and more practice time and she'll be just fine.

Great match. Haas had me worried most of the match, but his fitness was obviously superior as he dominated the final 10 games. Gasquet would have beaten most 1st round opponents, but he got an unlucky draw being matched with Haas in the opener.

Very hesitant on Goerges. She's young and very inconsistent. Bremond is no world beater, but would not lay that much wood. Goerges is very pleasing to the eyes though.

I had two live dogs today I thought in Spadea and Lee. Both fell in five, so feel like I was on the right side even though it lost. Was hoping Safin would just meltdown or quit after that questionable foot fault.

Everything looks pretty solid, keep up the good work!
