Wm Penn was worried in the early days of our country that the German immigrants would overtake Pennsylvania, that the white English would be the majority. Now the German-Americans are the largest ethnic group in the U.S., some 41 million. However, intermarriage among all ethnic groups will blur the racial make-up and the majority will become the overall population make-up. Whites marry Asians, Hispanics,etc and they all marry each others background. We always have been a melting pot and will continue to be moreso.
