You implied that you 'had no choice' in the matter when in fact you could, if you choose, work for one of the majority employers in the USA who does not demand a urine sample as a requirement to work.
You choose freely. And as I noted, it's lucky for your employer that you're willing to be treated like a criminal. If more people like you - a non-illicit drug user - were to stand up and demand to be treated with respect, the current policies might be changed.

C&D, what I think we can all agree on is that the supposed author of the grumpy gripe in Post #1 is someone who is bitter that he has agreed to work for someone who inspects his urine without cause. And now he wants others to be forced into joining him in his misery.

Thats not it Barman...Im not bitter about it & trying to drag everybody else into it but I see that fighting demand is much more cost effective than trying to fight supply.....To the Guy that mentioned pot for Cancer patients ect...Im for that but in places like California they are abusing the privilege by going to the Doctor & telling him I got a fart crosswise I need a prescription for pot...
I was reefering to the supposed author of the rant in Post #1. He's getting jammed by his employer treating him like a criminal and suddenly thinks that if he can just see to it that MORE people are getting jammed like him, then suddenly life will be fair again.
What he misses is the fact that his participation in employer-mandated urine tests is totally voluntary.
If he thinks he's getting jammed, he just needs to change to a better employer and quit trying to drag others into his lousy pit.
