Rochester off to a VERY slow start this year. I thought the new addition of Tilley as coach would help.. I heard they have a guy for the EPL that might come and join them for the summer..

1 goal in 6 matches. Home opener against Charleston was a true downer; thought they played much better than season opener 0-2 loss. Also 6 games in 14 game does not help. Let's see how they do on the road against Carolina on the 24th (hopefully a draw). After that four straight at home: Portland / Miami / Vancouver / and once again Carolina.

Impact much like Rochester, can't find back the net. Today they were absoluletely awful (granted weather did not help). Two great chances to score, with useless finishing. Refering in the USL is very soft. Montreal had a clear penalty kick taken away at 88th minute that would have given them a much needed chance for a late game victory (Instead of the opposite in the last two games). Impact, much like Rochester, will be a better team in stretch months (Aug/Sep). Difference with the Impact is clear, don't expect DeSantis to be around much longer than July. Can tell players don't buy in his system.

In summation, Toronto FC shoul have an easy hand against Montreal in their "Champions League" encounter.

Pinnacle. Rochester came through with the draw. Believe it or not they were pk and -0.5 favs (?!?), hence no play. Homestand stand starts against Portland....hopefully a good display by the Rhinos. After that, Miami....And that should be wide open.

I was listening to the soccer radio show this am and they said they are pouring all their efforts into the 1st couple games of the homestand. They will avg about 1 game a week now--this road pace has been sick. New coach and players still seem upbeat

that's the USL. Schedule much like a hockey one. Unfortunately, a decent season earns you a tough schedule the following year.

In 4 road games so far for Miami, total has produced at least 2 goals everytime. A bad defensive team with no spark whatsoever. Portland, despite first loss at home two days ago to Vancouver, will be dominant on home turf all year long.
