So in ny if your unemployment benefit is 400 a week and the steroid injection is an additional 600 totaling 1k take home ahhh why the fuck would your normal everyday American want to return to the workplace ? How can your mom and pop business compete in that environment.

It shouldn't be a pay raise. Help is one thing, getting a bonus for not working is another. Amazing how common sense has left the building. Those that dont need assistance give a relief from payroll tax. All then would be well

since im looking at having to file for unemployment in the coming days, my work was forced closed on March 17th (won't reopen before april 23rd at the earliest). Missouri's max unemployment payment was $320 a week, so $640 a paycheck. Less than 1/3 what I was making pretax when I was working. With this extra $600 a week, I make close to what I was before. If you factor in no medical coverage payments(my company is covering us through returning to work or end of june) or 401k contributions coming out. I might break even
