Watching this show makes you wonder how the hell these guys became CEO's.

The CEO of MAACO, a car repair company, didn't know what a vin number was.....

CEO of Moe's had zero clue how the inside of a store operated. zero clue

CEO of subway can't make a subway sandwich.

Almost every episode of this show the CEO is a dumbass when it comes to the operations of his company.

just pitiful.

I have seen this a handful of times and it has been pathetic in some cases. I have owned 3 different businsesses and of course I could do the simple tasks...it boggles my mind

I never watch that show but some of it seems like it is for the camera the few times I've seen it. A wink-wink "haha lets let the plebians laugh at the rich people" type of thing.

The Waste Management guy in particular was hamming it up from what I recall.

agree w/ that...I mean I can see people falling for the reason cameras are there before the show aired all the time, but cmon if they showed up at your work and said they were filming this new guy for a news doc or something, most people are on to that. And just because the camera is there, of course that makes the employee generally act much better than they normally would. I do not watch that show anymore....in fact don't watch many shows at all.

Another fixed reality show.....It`s all staged.....Not 1 CEO claims to know anything....And the last 15 minutes of every show without fail.....The CEO invites at least 3 employees to his office and he gives them 10,000...Or he sends them to college.....Or he pays their rent for 1 year.....And everybody cries.

Same with Bar Rescue. My buddy got his bar on the show and he had to sit back and have John Taffert call him an imbecile and they rigged the stress test to fail by cutting the internet so the new system wouldnt work.

I would say you still need a basic understanding of the operations of your company.

Does the CEO of Moes need to know exactly how to make every burrito or how to clean the soda machine? No. But they need to have a basic understanding of how a store operates
