I know lots of people love betting those ESPN games. Trust me, the line is right, and like most tv games, this game probably will hover around the number (14pts) all night long.
However, Bama has big time advantage along the line of scrimmages. UK is working on 4 wide out sets because they lack a TE. But Lorenzen cant managae a game. He makes a play or two, then, gets a ball batted down, takes a sack, etc...or a turnover. Emotional edge is a factor with that bama draining loss to OKlahoma. However, cant see UK establishing any type of running game. Just hate laying the 2TDS. But I think Ala the right side. But when u play TV games- Expect to SWEAT IT OUT.

When I first looked at this I saw a big difference in teams. Alabama has always been a contender and lost to #1 Oklahoma by 1 touchdown. Kentucky is a basketball school who lost to another basketball school (Louisville) and beat Murray State.

Perhaps the 14 point spread is a bit too much but I can't help but think Alabama covers the 7-point 1st half spread.

Will there be a big letdown after losing to Ok. or will they be looking for a patsy to beat up on?

Big games- I played Alabama and over in the 1st half. I liked their effort last week against a very good Oklahoma team and this Kentucky defense is terrible. They are very slow and can't tackle a bit. Alabama will push the Kentucky defense all over the field and Lorenzen is usually good for a turnover or two to set up the Alabama offense in good field position.

soccerbob:

I've been reading your posts in the soccer forum. I never did find out whether the Blackburn/Liverpool match went over 2 1/2.

I took Alabama -7 in the first half. Almost got it at the end before the QB threw that interception in the end zone.

I'm also officially taking Alabama -7 for the 2nd half. I feel they controlled the ball much more than Kentucky.

Good luck.
