Lauren Boebert's Financial Disclosure Shows That She's Almost Completely Broke

121,401 views Jun 19, 2023
According to Lauren Boebert's financial disclosure forms, the Republican Representative from Colorado is nearly completely broke. Her disclosure shows that she only has about $15,000 in a bank account that she shares with her husband - who allegedly makes hundreds of thousands a year. On top of that, Boebert's annual salary as a member of Congress is $174,000 per year, making the relatively low cash value seem incredibly suspicious. Ring of Fire's Farron Cousins discusses this.

*This transcript was generated by a third-party transcription software company, so please excuse any typos. So last week, Lauren Bert's, uh, financial disclosures for the year 2022 became publicly available. And after digging in to those financial disclosures, reporters actually found out that Lauren Bobert, based on what she is reporting, is broke her and her estranged husband, who of course she is getting a divorce from, have one bank account together. This the only one with her name on it that has roughly $15,000 in it. Beyond that, Lauren Bobert reported no other cash or assets. So Lauren Bobert has a few thousand dollars sitting in a bank account, and that's it according to her financial disclosure forms. Now, her estranged husband, Jason Bobert, is listed as the owner on a property where the amount owed on that property is within the range of 250,000 and $500,000. So there is some debt. Colorado is a community property state. Any debts incurred while married are split evenly between the two. So yeah, she does have a little debt, but I'm assuming on the property you also have a little bit of value added. So you've got some equity in it there, but only $15,000 in the bank that she reported. Where's the money, Lauren? Because this doesn't smell right to me. Your husband allegedly makes hundreds of thousands of dollars a year as a consultant, you know, for the oil and gas industry. That's obvious. That's been widely reported. Like we know he makes a lot of money. So where is that money? Why is that not in this joint checking account that you and your husband shared? Furthermore, you as a member of Congress make $174,000 a year and you've now been in there. This is your third year. You're in your third year. So you have made over $350,000 at least from Congress. Where is that money, Lauren? Where is all the money going? Now, I'm not trying to suggest that Lauren Bobert is, you know, laundering money and doing something. What I am suspicious about is the fact that she doesn't hold assets according to this financial disclosure. So we know that her money is not going, you know, she's not investing in property, she's not investing in stocks. That would make sense, right? But your money's just disappearing. Either that or you're lying on your financial disclosure form. We do know that in violation of house rules, she did not report the expected royalties from a book that she released last summer. Now, her campaign says that, oh, she didn't have to do that cuz she didn't get paid yet. But the house rules are explicitly clear. If you are expecting royalties, even If they're not paid in that year, you still have to report them on that year's financial disclosure form. We also know that Lauren Bobert has been popped several times for failing to properly file financial disclosure forms, both for her personally and for her campaign. She was investigated and we don't even know what happened with that investigation, you know, for the massive mileage that she reported in her first uh, congressional campaign. But there's some money issues here happening that we need to get to the bottom of because, I'm sorry, I just refuse to believe that she only has 15 grand in the bank when she makes 174,000 a year. The husband is allegedly making hundreds of thousands of dollars a year. Where are the assets? Where is the cash? Where is the money going? Those are questions that I think it's time for investigators to start looking for answers for.

Lol, I posted the "she's broke as a JOKE" story last night, and, lo and behold, less than 24 hours later, THIS pops up. Coincidence? I think NOT.
