I hit Fresno on the ML. Even thinking about this bet before you get a report on Stafford after a couple days of practice is fucking stupid. Dumb thread, take it back to that other shitty site.

Sorry, this should say UNLV that I was on. Had a couple drinks.

Anyways, do you guys know something I dont know about Stafford? Last time I saw him in that game he looked like his leg was busted in about 32 spots. If that is the case, Georgia shouldnt be able to expose the weak side of the with Singfield. I dont tihnk that Bolden is all that bad of a corner, and if it isnt Stafford back there, then those might be a couple issues.

However, a couple of issues for Georgia isnt going to stop them from running all over a very weak run defense that even made Northern Arizona and Stanford look competitive for a half. As Satly said, this team has no hope on the offensive line and Carpenter will have very little time to get the ball to Williams and co. on the outside.

I think before betting this game though, you need to know the status of both Stafford and Herring. Two very important pieces to this puzzle on Saturday.

Also, I remember an ASU team that showed up against Leinart, Bush, and Lendale a couple years ago. If Hagan didnt decide to toss 30 yard catch back to a USC defender, Keller and the boys might have pulled that one out. :103631605

Stafford didn't get hurt against USC. He was cramping towards the end, that is why he was holding his calf.

Without Stafford this line would be at around a pk. Stafford is completely healthy as far as I've heard.

Oh gotcha. I had no volume at the bar and he looked like he was dying. Boy that guy is a pussy. With healthy Stafford, ASU has zero shot of covering this game. Conversation over.

If you look at 2007, their big games were against Oregon (they were getting 7), USC (they were getting 3), Arizona (they were giving 6), and Texas in the Holiday Bowl. They didn't cover one of these games and only won the UofA game.

I was thinking the same thing about Stafford. It looked like he was in some real pain. Then the sideline reporter pops in and says it's a cramp. I was dying. Dude acted like he got shot..

Anytime Charlie Weis handles an injury 500% times better than someone, you know that are a pussy. I mean if that gastric bypass homo from the lamest school ever that only won because of 73 fumbles can man up than Stafford should too.

This game is 8:10 at night for kick off.. the temp will be warm but nothing like normal day time desert.. Don't look for anything here but a good ole fashion Georgia ass kicking.. Ok Ok maybe just a punch in the eye but a cover none the less. BoL

UGA's D is going to eat up that O-line. South Carolina's D is one of the best in the country. No way ASU slows down UGA's O the way SC did. UGA rolls here. 6 points is a gift.....

ASU should win this game, Georgia is pathetic offensively. UNLV played very good UTah even at SLC for 28 mins. UNLV is loaded this year. I dont see anybody "smart" on Georgia. The same guys who were on Ohio State +12 and Tennessee -7

Honestly, for me it's a pass. But gun to my head, I'd say take the points and fade the SEC team in this spot.

hahaa no offense....moreno, stafford, badass core of recievers and a great offensive line

no offense

they don't have a quirky offense like a lot of colleges..they have the most balanced attack in college

The line is definitly something to think about. I would have thought it to me more. Georgia should dominate upfront

There might not be a smart play on this game.. However Georgia is the only logical one..

For the record I was on USC big and didn't play the Tennessee game.

I agree Georgia will want to show they are #1 and will try and put points up in a non-conference game. You can expect UGA to pound the ball and punish the D-Line of ASU until they begin to break. Stafford will take over and start hitting passes over the top for 6. The Defense for UGA is simply too fast and too strong for ASU. UGA will have their ears pinned back and come after the QB. ASU will not run on UGA, its not going to happen.Once ASU becomes one dimensional this game is a wrap. If UGA can limit turnovers and costly penalties I see Georgia putting it to ASU On the road by at least 18.

After watching ASU's first 2 games I don't see how their OL holds UGA's defense out

It won't hold up. If ASU wins, Carpenter will have to go through hell and make plays on the run.
