Yes, the push was disappointing but still it was a good watch, the game lived up to expectations, eh?
I made some notes during the game knowing that we're probably going to see these two play in the championship game, want to see if there's anything that will help 'cap their next meeting.
Like you said, St Louis couldn't stop the slant, so they'll be better prepared for that next time. Which Birmingham will know, so they'll try it but they'll probably have some adjustments off it.
Any game, any sport, comes out to who executed better. Both teams made mistakes yesterday but I think neutral field I'd make it Birmingham -3, and I'd likely take them because their mistakes yesterday are easier to clean up, like the muffed punt that gave St Louis the first down on the Birmingham, what was it, 11 yard line?
That not only took a possession away from the Stallions but also gave a TD to the Battle Hawks. Can't count on that happening next game.
Looks like me and you are the only ones battling the books on this one, at least posting-wise, look forward to discussing the championship game as we get closer to it.
Good luck to you over the final three weeks of the season and into the playoffs.
