I absolutely LOVE this play today in the UEFA Super Cup

Manchester United to win, -141

It's a bit of chalk, but I'll eat it. It comes down to who is motivated in this game. Here's what Manchester United coach Alex Ferguson said at the press conference as reported by the Manchester Evening News:

While the Super Cup would not normally be given such a high priority in the Old Trafford outfit’s fixture calendar, reminders of nine years ago still grate at Ferguson, who is determined to beat Dick Advocaat’s men this time around.

“I want to win,” said the United boss.

“I remember the last time we went there I only played half a team because we had a Monday league game against Newcastle.

“When I saw Lazio celebrating at the end, it was like they had won the World Cup.

“I was not too pleased. I thought, ’That will not happen again’.”

With no premier league games to worry about, he's not going to hold back this time around like he did in 1999. As for Zenit, they are struggling in the Russian Premier league. Lots of turmoil in their locker room with regards to the status of star Arashavin. Zenit needs to concentrate on their league, and not this more or less meaningless game today. I can't see anything other than a clear Manchester United win today.
