The tournament involving Chelsea, Milan etc... is the UEFA CHAMPIONS LEAGUE. This one is the UEFA Cup. It is kind of like Champions League is the NCAA Final Four and UEFA Cup is the NIT.

CSKA Moscow always play tough at home and Auxerre are carrying a few injuries that will hinder them from getting a result today.

The events of last weekend at Newcastle may serve to glavanize this team and make them even tougher to beat. Sporting Lisbon are a good team but Newcastle are on an incredible run in this tournament. If Newcastle just sticks to the business of playing soccer they will win this game today at home.

AZ Alkmaar are having a great season in the Dutch domestic league but Villareal is a much better team than most of the teams that compete in Holland.

I would say the UEFA Champions League is more like the NFL as it is the top club soccer tournament in the world.

The UEFA cup is just a mickey mouse tournament in comparison, iwoud say it is like NCAAF but that would be giving it too much credit.

Tell that to NEWCASTLE UNITED and Alan Shearer. The UEFA Cup is absolutely worthy of our attention and interest. I predict a Newcastle vs. Parma Final and it is SURE to be GREAT.
