I will be adding plays over the next two days in this thread for Thursday's UEFA Cup action.

PALERMO (-0.5) -130 over Newcastle (260/200) Pinnacle
Newcastle have been simply dreadful this season in the English Premiership, especially when you consider their away record (1-0-4, 2:7). They will limp into Palermo under the gloom of a possible striker crisis as they have a few injury doubts amongst their front line players.
Palermo have had a pretty good run of form in Serie A highlighted by a 2-0 away win over AC Milan as the Sicilian side sit comfortably atop the Italian league table. Palermo won their last UEFA Cup match when they travelled to Germany to take on Eintracht Franfurt and they should have even less trouble disposing of Newcastle on Thursday.

Don't know much bout soccer, but is Ajax a very good chance to win? Odds are big at -450. Read some previews and it is their first game at home for the UEFA cup and the coach is saying they must qualify early. Thinking of putting them in a parlay. thanks.

I am going to HAMMER Palermo as it has been confirmed that several first team players will miss out for Newcastle. I already have a wager down at Pinnacle that was placed on Tuesday (above) but I am going to add this one...

yes indeed. this may be the best play on the board. Must be careful though; Palermo is a tired team; if the letdown does not happen today
(hopefully not), it will happen in their next Serie A match. I might also
take a stab at the under 2.5 goals.

fire away! Ajax will absolutely win and 450 is not a bad price consider most are 500 or higher now
