UEFA CHAMPIONS LEAGUE

CHELSEA (+0.5) -115 over Barcelona (230/200) Pinnacle
This is probably the toughest Group in this stage of Champions League. One of Barcelona, Chelsea or Werder Bremen will not advance. Even though Barcelona and Chelsea are favoured to advance don't count out Werder Bremen and I am sure that Chelsea have not either.
Chelsea have some injury worries with Shevchenko and Drogba both carrying minor injuries and they will also start their 3rd string goal keeper, Hilario. Despite these problems I think Chelsea can at least obtain a Draw today since they are in slightly better form than Barcelona, having only conceded 1 goal in their last 5 matches in all competitions.

WERDER BREMEN (-1) -175 over Levski Sofia (350/200) Pinnacle
If Werder Bremen have any hope of progressing out of their Group to the knockout stage they MUST win this game. Werder Bremen are currently in 1st Place in the German Bundesliga and have been scoring goals in bunches. Levski are also top of their domestic league but, as most already know, the Bulgarian domestic league is a huge step down from the German Bundesliga.
Bremen should win this game and I think it will be by more than 1 goal so I am taking the -1 handicap.

LIVERPOOL (-1) -120 over Bordeaux (240/200) Pinnacle
Liverpool got off to a slow start in the English Premiership but are playing much better recently as was shown this past weekend with a 3-1 win over a tough Aston Villa squad. The Reds beat Bordeaux away in their last Champions League match and there is no reason why they shouldn't be able to do it again at Anfield. Bordeaux will likely play a very defensive match with 10 men behind the ball but Liverpool has the strength and quality to break down this French side.

PSV EINDHOVEN (-1) -125 over Galatasaray (250/200) Pinnacle
PSV have taken their game to another level recently as they chase down Ajax for top spot in the Dutch Eredivisie. Recent impressive wins include a 7-0 thrashing of Sparta and a 3-1 away win at AZ Alkmaar. Much like Liverpool, PSV beat Galatasaray away in their last Champions League match and should be able to win by more than 1 goal at home against this same team.

ENGLAND LEAGUE CHAMPIONSHIP

PRESTON NE -129 over Leeds United (129/100) Pinnacle
Leeds United have been nothing short of dreadful in their away matches this season. A 5-1 drubbing by Luton Town their last time away tells you how bad things are. What's worse is that David Nugent should be back in the line-up for Preston and he will give Leeds' backline fits all night.

SOUTHEND UNITED +119 over Hull City (100/119) Pinnacle
This is a battle for the basement in the English Championship and I am going to give the edge to the home side tonight. Southend have a very talented striker in Freddy Eastwood but their problem of late has been conceding too many goals. I don't think that will be a problem here as Hull City can't seem to score at all. Hull have recorded a total of 2 goals in their last 5 matches and have not won any of them. Also, Hull have only managed to score a grand total of 3 goals in their 7 away matches this season and that just won't cut it.
