What's been lost in the Titans recent scoring spree has been the great play of their defense, allowing only 12 PPG over the last five. They're also the best in the league against the run at 78 YPG.
The Atl. O-line is banged up, and if Dunn and Duckett can't produce, Doug Johnson will have to. Yuck.
On the other side, the Titans won a real ugly game last week at home, and some of their offensive deficiencies came to the forefront. The Falcons have the worst pass D in the league, but most of those big numbers came early in the year. With a revamped secondary, they've shown some improvement.
Atlanta still has some trouble stoping the run, but Eddie's been a shell of his former self, and probably won't be 100% for this one. In addition, McNair will be without Bennett, and Mason is dinged up as well.
If Mr. Johnson can avoid a bunch of turnovers (fingerscrossed), this should stay below 40.
