IDK, just asked my daughter and she said she remembers that nothing in my blood work was "really bad", which is why my doctors were all shocked to find 5 arteries 90% blocked, including two major arteries.

No EKG issues, no blood pressure issues, no cholesterol issues, no sugar issues, no breathing issues (they kept asking me if I was ever short of breath, which I never was) and an ultra sound of my heart on the day of my heart attack showed a perfectly functioning heart.

Since they put me on atorvastatin, my levels are really low now (total is 113)

I wasn't stressed at all during my heart attack, all my vitals were fine at the emergency room, but I listened to a couple of odd sensations in my body because I've read about so many accountants having heart attacks during tax season

I passed every physical, slightly high cholesterol (200), passed every EKG, yet I had 5 arteries 90% blocked (they left a small one)

I have no heart damage, no artificial parts, no dietary restrictions and only take 2 pills per day. I'm supposed to lose weight (not doing that well) , my cholesterol is now 113.

I am a lucky man

Yes you are zwillir

Glad that you're doing well!

SheBar now at 5 yrs, three months....some days "almost" forget it went down. But we have a few friendly photos of her at larger weight etc to nudge her habits and it's consistently awesome along with reminding me personally to not take for granted my own excellent health vitals.

keep rocking.....still overdue to outwalk you around Midtown and that LES when I let myself take a week off from Sunshine State life

Unfortunately even with excellent diet habits some people are just genetically prone to vascular disease. Have had vegetarians needing bypass.

Amen. Both my parents had bypass surgery as did a sister. Had my Grandfather died of a heart attack at 60, an uncle at 50, and another one at 61. My doctor told me I would never be normal but just get checked regularly, take my medicine, and as soon as I see any signs to come in.

I'm gonna
I'm gonna barg in on this one. No offense Willie, but I'd rather go south. You in?

that would be awesome, and I love the Tampa Bay area and would happily go to that red neck joint, Two Bucks again

But Steve owes me two Manhattans, and he said he'll pay me when we meet in the city
