I think that this sub forum should be whatever the posters want it to be.

If you want more baseball threads, then put some up and talk to like minded people. Some days I may want to get into a discussion of the greatest sporting event I ever attended, some days I don't. It's whatever you want to take from it that day.

The good thing is, is that all of the threads are titled and you don't have to open any threads that you don't want.

I never understood the point of when a poster goes into a thread just to say "this thread is stupid"

The mention of contests is really kind of funny.

We've had some great contests, and usually always better than other sites, yet they never get the amount of entries they deserve.

Could it be poster Doublelife makes a valid point in post #15...?

You're probably right Justin.

Also if those saying we don't have enough sports - discussion would chip in themselves.

For example, boxing may be on life support, but there's a huge fight Saturday and I've created 2 threads asking thoughts odds & who they like and not one....NOT ONE person responded.... lots of that goes on, that's only one example. ..

That is what I'm saying hache, you post tons of content. It's not like you can start 25 threads a day if they're gonna get minimal replies.

i personally ran a march madness bracket pool here, and invited everyone to join... its not always easy to run these given P*ypl restrictions and price point is hard to set. $30 may not be enough for some, and any more may be too much for others.

I love pools and contest, I think there is no such thing as too many as long as there is enough participation... I think theRX has done well running these, there has been a bunch of different ones. There was one where you pick the winners in the early rounds where it was $25 each...

If you have a suggestion for MLB or NBA, Id love to hear it.

as much as I'm sure Everyone appreciates what Chop does with his Contest. I believe The LVH Style NFL Contest is the Most POPULAR among the Contests being posted here at the RX

and this is why Each and Every Year I go through this BS..

You get TONS of complaints about SPONSOR Contests because of the Rollovers.. Even stopped the LVH Style Contest the First year I wanted to start it because I was ADDING a Sponsor into the Mix. Posters didn't want to have a Rollover, or Deposit Funds to get Full prizes.

So 2 Years ago I started a Post Up contest with no Strings attached .... It has been a HUGE Success

So I won't even have 2nd thoughts on what you say
