Been doing pretty well the past two nights here in pro hoops. That could change tonight. I may also get some losses going this week as I may have some college hoops plays I'm still looking at. Never a guarantee with me that I'll hit every play. Good Luck!!
Tonight's Plays:
Orlando Magic -3.5
I said I was going to fade the Clips on the rest of their road trip, and I didn't. Last time they played, they were favored to beat Toronto, and lost by three. I was so shocked to see them favored that I decided to just sit it out and watch what would happen. Now, there seems to be a trend here, with both these team, recently and that is the margin of victories. Going back to the first game of this road trip for LA, they have either won or lost by 5 points or less. Go back a bit further and the last seven road losses have been by no more than 5 points also. Similarly, Orlando has won their last 7 of 8 by no more than five points (interesting), including home and away wins. These wins came against some solid teams like Detroit, Indiana, Cleveland, and Washington. However, they did struggle to beat New Orleans Sunday night and they beat the Hawks by five last Thursday. I just worry a little about the losses during that stretch, as 4 of 8 came against Western Conference teams (two losses against Houston). Orlando has not covered in seven straight and are due a blowout win. This is a great opportunity to take advantage of what should be a tired Clipper team, that still has to play at Miami tomorrow and then travel to Phoenix after the break.

The Clippers have dominated this series recently, covering in 3 of 4.
(Magic have to get out of this funk I would think)
Orlando 111, LA Clippers 96
Washington Wizards +8
I must be nuts going against a Houston Rockets team that is on a seven game win streak, right. Maybe, but I'll take my chances here. Washington is on the last game of a three game road trip in which they've lost the first two SU (lost three straight ATS). They would love to come out of this trip on a positive note with a strong win before heading in for the break. Who better to play, than the overrated Rockets (in my opinion). Yes they are winning, but come on, this must be the easiest stretch of the schedule. They've beaten Boston, Philly, Minny, LA Lakers, Chicago, Indy, and barely beat Portland Sunday. Tracy McGrady, has not convinced me that he is a winner, yet, and this stretch of wins hasn't changed my thoughts. Even Houston Coach Van Gundy hasn't been convinced that his team is as good as it appears stating that "winning subconsciously softens some teams up and some players up, but winning can also make your (team) hungry for more...If you've watched the last two to three games, instead of being hungry for more, we've been softened up by the result of winning.'' Couldn't have said it better myself. Last night I took Detroit, because they are hot, but it makes them hungry. Tonight I fade Houston, because they are hot but don't know, yet, how to sustain the drive.
