Last week Barcelona showed us how well of a possession game they can play against Manchester United, even though Manchester United went to the Nou Camp to defend. With Rooney and Vidic likely to miss out, I think Barca will still have the upper hand and see a lot of the ball. They rested all their big names last weekend and to me it seems like the fatigue factor is starting to kick in for Manchester United. I don't see Manchester United taking the win here, and if it wasn't at Old Trafford, it would be another 5 unit bet for the season.

Barcelona is a mess at the moment, really bold to put a significant wager on the Blaugrana.

I wouldn't look too much into the match last week. As with most sides there is a huge difference in their effectiveness away from home (+29 differential at the Nou Camp, even goal difference on their travels). On the other side Man U is a massive +37 (43-6) at Old Trafford.

At this point in time I can't see anything other then Utd winning. Two teams with two different mental states. And with all the rotating done this year by Sir Alex I really find it hard to believe Utd. is tired. Over 2/2.25 is probably the best bet though as this game will look 180 degrees different from the first leg.

Lets hope for an entertaining match.

Barcelona is not playing so well recently but all they got left this season is CL,won't give it that easy,on Other hand Utd the last 4 weeks has not been in its peak either with many draws,some in last minute and might find itself eventually without title nor reaching the final here the way they been playing as of late,Rooney and Vidic are out as well and that might affect too.imo as you stated the Over is better play than picking a side here,as i believe Barcelona will do their most to score here and Henry starting this time might make the difference with shots out of the 16th as well as Utd wish to score might give Messy more room this time,but i will have small shot on Barcelona to advance here too.
Common sense drives me to back Utd but somehow my gut feeling tells me today the outcome may be different ,be it in 90 mins extra time or pk.

May have touched +185 at a time but on matchday the line was about -165/-170 for United to advance. And yes the odds have been reduced, nothing unusual. Utd failed to score, now only a win will do. So technically Barca's chances improved but in reality they have not.

Barcelona is not playing so well recently but all they got left this season is CL,won't give it that easy,on Other hand Utd the last 4 weeks has not been in its peak either with many draws,some in last minute and might find itself eventually without title nor reaching the final here the way they been playing as of late,Rooney and Vidic are out as well and that might affect too.

True Barcelona has all their energy focused on this competition. Still I don't believe you can turn it on and off. Barcelona is lacking something, they're not going to find it overnight. United have been playing pretty well despite the results. And late goals are just part of the game, wouldn't discredit late goals as simply luck. Can be seen moreso as a strength of a team, finishing strong.

This is the strongest play here. United will attack and Barca will not play conservatively. Rijkaard has stated they will not change their style. United will get their chances and with more space Barca should be able to find the net. I really think we see 3+ goals here. Over 2, -125ish is extremely attractive. Could even be a wild one with 5+, maybe worth a shot there too.

I'll guess 3-2 United.

I did the parlay with an Irish book I use Terry Rogers and the Ronaldo prop was at Pinny. Man Utd was available at 11/10 and the Over 2 was about 4/5.
