My info shows Appy with 10 returners on O and D, and Geo.South with 5 on O and 8 on D. I will probably take the points though... haven't decided yet though

I gotta check that, but I think you're wrong about the Georgia numbers. They have all seniors and juniors starting, except for one freshman. I know Appy had a lot of guys coming back, but Georgia was hands down picked to win the conference.

How's Georgia Southern's defense this season? :think2: I'm pretty sure they haven't faced a balanced offensive attack like Appalachian State.

There's also the revenge angle to consider. GS beat-down AS last year. AS has this game circled for payback.

Pretty sure GS won't beat AS by 10+ at Kidd Brewer Stadium. :)!/

Inky, ya kill me sometimes, LOL. I'm three hours from Boone, you're half a world away, LOL.

My returning starter info comes from Phil Steele CFB guide. Additionally, Sun Belt Media Guide has Geo. Southern with 13 returning starters and App. with 22 returning starters.
I respectfully disagree that Geo. Southern was hands down picked to win conference. App St. and Ark. St. were both up there in preseason picks.

Got the guide right next to me. I live in Charlotte, and the pick here was Georgia Southern. They've got some beasts on the team. Not dissing Appy, I've played them four or five times this year, they cash. But I'll be playing Southern in this one.

Due to the international time difference, I'm only responding to you now. Apologies for that.

Yes, I know I'm half a world away in Bangkok and you're only a few hours away from Appalachian State. I get that.

One would think geographical difference that would have some bearing and give you the advantage in the handicapping process for a game played so close to your locale, right?

However, with technology today, I think I can access some great information for handicapping purposes. Everyone on the internet can. Gives us all equal footing so to speak.

In any event, I'm glad I can give you a chuckle now and then. :ok:

OK, serious question. Will NC State cover the -10 over Wake Forrest on Saturday? I ask because you're in the region and probably follow the Wolfpack closely.

Personally, I have NC State winning by 14 to 17. What are your thoughts? :think2:
