No illusions about my record. It's terrible, but I have stayed above water by doing better with my higher rated selections.Hopefully,I will get on a streak.

5*BC-5
BC was flat last game out, winning by two over Sacred Heart. They should put forth a better effort here.Craig Smith and Uka Agbai will be too much for Kent to handle inside.Kent was smacked around by Richmond, the first decent team they encountered.

5*Oregon-5
Alabama has been led by Earnest Shelton's 17 ppg.He has not shown the inconsistency that plagued him last year, but I still would not bank on him.Winston saved the Tide against UTC,but overall his play has been spotty.I think Alabama will mistakenly try to run with the Ducks. They may for a while, but Oregon with Luke Jackson should pull away for a double digit win.I would rate this game higher,if it were in Oregon instead of Las Vegas.

I have been to Tuscaloosa twice to see Alabama and nothing indicated they could play at the level they did Saturday night.Anybody that had the Ducks had to be impressed with their stifling interior defense at the end of the game

Don't challenge the entry pass, let the guy back you down to the goal, lay it in for two.
BC missed 3 free throws in the last 50 seconds of overtime to miss the cover, but a loss is a loss as I could have taken the other teams.

Anyway two shitty selections by me and I am on a bad streak so I will be lowering my bets until I can turn it around.

3*Cal-Poly Slo +8.5
Having already played a tough schedule the points seem generous considering the circumstances. The Mustangs own a win at Cal and have also faced Colorado and San Diego State.USC has not been overwhelming at home as they have 6 point victories over Northridge and Fullerton and a loss to UNLV.USC draws under 3,000 a game,so home court advantage will be minimal, especially during xmas break. With Varney Dennis,Cal Poly has enough to hang with the Trojans.Neither team shoots the three well and they should be about even on the boards.

3*New Mexico-3(buy) 1*First half
The Lobos were drilled by the Aggies early in the year and have now lost 3 in a row in this series. However, transfers Danny Granger and Troy DeVries played their first games against Coppin State and both were impressive.Granger adds an inside presence and should be good for 16 points and 8 boards a game while Devries is a wing player who scored 11 points and had 12 assists in his debut.

2*Seton Hall-13
Davidson has been routinely defeated by every major team they have played this year-double digit losses to Texas Tech,UNC,Georgetown, and Charlotte.Kelly Whitney has returned to the Pirates and will give them a boost in the middle with his rebounding and shot blocking ability.

2*San Diego State+15.5
The Aztecs have the height to give Arizona problems as their inside rotation is 6'9,6'9,6'10,and 7'1.The Aztecs are coming off 2 solid wins against Cal-Poly and Eastern Washington and have been looking forward to this game.I have never really been able to get a handle on Arizona-when I bet on them I lose, when I bet against them I lose. We'll see.

As I am in the midst of a bad streak, any insight on these games would be much appreciated.Good luck to everyone on Monday.

Some calculations I am making are leading me to some ugly underdogs for tomorrow. The one I like the best is:
2*Tulane+18
The Green Wave are coming off a home loss to SE Louisiana, but you can probably attribute it to being rusty after taking time off for exams. No doubt that this a team that is supposed to be rebuilding after losing 4 starters and they will have to contend with Lloreda and Bass inside.Quincy Davis has stepped up and is posting good numbers inside for the green Wave.Tulane has done well on the glass this year with a rebounding margin of +9 and they shoot relatively well from 3 range(34%).This is a step up in competition for Tulane, but they do own a win over a decent Rice squad.Anyway, going ugly.Good luck to everyone tonight.

Tulane looks like an ugly duckling that cashes in as I have also posted them. LSU has trouble putting anybody away. Best of luck.
