a team of a loss is favored against a team who won 4 straight and 8 of last nine games. another tricky line, wright ?maybe not.
a very solid home team (18-3 su last 21 at home) goes for a revenge against a team that struggled a bit in there only two underdog games this season. (0-2 su/ats).i'veboth teams ranked pretty even, and majority of the respectable rankings actually have memphis ranked better than vilanova. why is nova favored then ? well there are several reasons for that, including the home/away performances by these two teams lately. this is memphis' first road game after 4 straight home games. even in there home wins (vs lesser opponents mostly)on the 4 game home stand, they were not winning big. they did beat mizu, but we had memphis as a huge play in that game because of that system that i was already talking about many times.as for vilanova, this is only there 4th home game this season and they played well in two of these three games, only to have a letdown against a bad columbia team, but they stil won all three.they also won two games vs top 100 opponents and played kansas very taugh on the road. they are 9-1 su and 5-2 ats recently as home favs of a loss. this is also a revnge game for them as they lost to memphis by 4 pts last year on the road. memphis lost last two vs revenge by avg 11½ pts and nova is 3-1 su/4-0 ats in last 4 revnge games improving on average by 16½ pts, as well as 6-1 su/ats in home revenge games, improving on average by 17½ pts. going with a home team here in a home revnge situation.
