Ch-Ch-Changes
Like the David Bowie song, there are some Ch-Ch-Changes afoot here that you've probably noticed by now.
- First up the departures of handicappers Craig Davis, Stephen Nover, Bobby Maxwell, Michael Cannon and Steve "Big Dog" Duemig. It was a nice run for them all and we wish them the best in their future endeavors.
- Sean Michaels, Bob Valentino and Andy Fanelli are now part of the Cappers Consensus. They don't release plays everyday, but they're proven winners and now when they have a selection you get it as part of your Cappers Consensus purchase, saving you big $$$ along the way.
- Speaking of Sean Michaels, he introduced me to Dom Chambers, who ran Sin City Sports Advisors in Las Vegas for the past 18 years. He will be joining the site - as will long-time capper Matt Rivers - in the next week. More about both when they make their debut.
And now the elephant in the room.... the return of Brandon Lang. He left here last April. You know what I said after his departure. So why is he back? Because he asked for another chance to be on the site and it was granted by myself and CEO Steve Budin.
I am a firm believer in karma, as in what comes around goes around. I don't go putting the "Evil Eye" on anyone because that can comeback to haunt you personally. I also don't believe in kicking a guy when he's down, despite personal differences.
There is no more polarizing figure in the sports handicapping industry than Brandon Lang. He is akin to Sarah Palin or the Tea Party Movement; you either love him or hate him; there's no in-between.
Some guys will ride his plays. Others will fade him. That choice is yours. All I can guarantee you with 100% certainty is that his record is accurate as of today and will remain so every day going forward - just like the record of EVERY other handicapper at this site. You can ultimately make your choice of what to do.
Brandon Lang is again part of the
Cappers Consensus, and you can judge his successes or failures against the other handicappers at this site.
As for all the changes, they aren't the first and won't be the last. Evolution is inevitable and absolutely necessary.
Hope you like the improved Cappers Conensus.
