CONSORTIUM*CHOICES

# 5 RUPP 9/2
# 8 TOWN ICON 8/1
# 4 FOX VALLEY VALDEZ 7/2

Really keen on the chance of RUPP taking down the winner's share in this race. This gelding getting the score wouldn't be impossible, a chance. Take a look at this standardbred's avg speed figure of 83 and compare to today's class rating. Looks like a formidable wager. The 5 slot sports a much better than average win stat at Dayton Raceway. TOWN ICON - This gelding getting the top prize wouldn't be impossible, a chance. FOX VALLEY VALDEZ - Always solid driver/trainer partnership. 21 percent winners when they team up to do work. Don't overlook a horse with these connections. Driver-conditioner ratings are looking formidable

# 1 FULL ON ROCKNROLL 7/2
# 6 ANARCHY HANOVER 3/1
# 2 BEST OF RIBERA 2/1

FULL ON ROCKNROLL sure does look ready to win. Has really good speed figures and more than likely has to be considered for a wager in this event. This entrant looks tough considering the high class figures. Don't throw out of any exotics. ANARCHY HANOVER - Worth considering here looking at the figures in the speed rating department alone. The brain trust gives this fine animal a great chance to take this race, class figures are tops in the group of horses. BEST OF RIBERA - Earned a 75 TrackMaster speed fig last time out. A duplicate race here should get the score in this one. Talk about a dynamic duo, Hennessey and Aubin have some of the best driver-handler statistics at the track.

RECOMMENDED*CHOICES

# 12 THE COLE WAR 3/1

# 9 FLYIN' KATNIP 6/1

# 2 MISS SOOTAA PRIDE 8/1

THE COLE WAR looks to be a very good contender. Well above average win clip at this distance/surface. Could best this field based on the speed figure - 70 - of her last affair. Recent figures for the rider - 23 win percent - make this filly stand out in this group of animals. FLYIN' KATNIP - Strong average speed figures in dirt sprint races make this horse a contender. Looks to have a very good class edge based on the most recent company kept. MISS SOOTAA PRIDE - With Guerrero controlling the reins on her, this filly will probably be able to break out early in this race. I would favor this filly on the jock and trainer numbers alone.

# 2 ROMAN PLEASURE 5/2

# 4 COWBOYSTEVIEWONDER 4/1

# 6 DEPUTY DIA 6/1

I think ROMAN PLEASURE is a formidable choice. He has been running well and the speed figures are among the best in this field. Arnett has one of the top winning percentages in this field with entries running at this distance and surface. Will most likely be one of the early speedsters of the pack going into the halfway point of the race. COWBOYSTEVIEWONDER - With one of the best jocks in terms of profits at the window, don't count this gelding out. Is a contender - given the 67 speed figure from his most recent race.

Parx Racing - Race #5 - Post: 2:13pm - Maiden Claiming - 6.0 furlongs on the Dirt. Purse: $40,000 Class Rating: 75

Rating:

#3 TIN N LINT (ML=8/1)
#7 KALISPELL (ML=7/2)
#2 AXE CAPITAL (ML=5/2)

TIN N LINT - Pennington rode this horse for the initial time last out and comes right back today. Reid brings her right back. I advocate you stick with this hot filly. KALISPELL - Johns adds Lasix for the second time today. Should make the difference in today's race. AXE CAPITAL - A horse coming back this rapidly after a solid contest is a good signal. Classic handicapping angle - 3rd or 4th start after a vacation generally leads to a big effort. Today's the day.

Vulnerable Contenders: #6 LOVE ON FIRE (ML=5/1), #8 CONGAREE ROSE (ML=8/1),

LOVE ON FIRE - Don't think this entrant has what it takes to be victorious this time out. CONGAREE ROSE - I'm prognosticating a lackluster effort out of her in today's event.

GUEST COMMENTARY: The Brain - TIN N LINT - Simply stated, horses don't like to get dirt kicked in their face. This filly will be so far ahead of the group of horses, she won't have any issues.

Turf Paradise - Race #4 - Post: 2:14pm - Claiming - 8.0 furlongs on the Dirt. Purse: $7,000 Class Rating: 88

Rating:

#9 MYDANCINGSHADOW (ML=8/1)
#7 SIX S STREET (ML=5/2)

MYDANCINGSHADOW - This gelding has been trying different distances, but from the looks of things, he ran a nice figure last try at this distance. Gelding's last work was second fastest of the day for the distance. After a pair of sprints, he's routing today, which is probably what this gelding wants to do. SIX S STREET - This gelding won at this distance on Jul 31st and was at a higher class than today.

Vulnerable Contenders: #6 HOUDINI HILL (ML=3/1), #4 CALL IT LUKE (ML=7/2), #10 MAKINGFUNINTHESUN (ML=6/1),

HOUDINI HILL - You always figure that this horse has a shot to win, but he comes up short most every time. Not probable that the fig he earned on Nov 28th will be enough in this event. CALL IT LUKE - Would have to get more than the M/L odds of 7/2 to bet on this entrant. MAKINGFUNINTHESUN - The sixth place finish in the last event was not the best.

STRAIGHT WAGERS:

#9 MYDANCINGSHADOW to win at post-time odds of 3/2 or better

Box [7,9]

Tuesday’s six-pack

— Tulsa 55, Central Michigan 10— Ouch. Bad showing by the Chippewas.

— Panthers 26, Redskins 15— Damaging loss for Washington’s playoff hopes.

— Tom Savage will start at QB for Houston Sunday; he is Texans’ 9th starting QB since 2013.

— If you bet against 49ers/Browns every week this year, you’d be 23-4-1.

— Detroit-Carolina NHL game was postponed Monday because of bad ice in Raleigh.

— Interweb says offense/defense players are at odds in Denver. That happens in football when one side of ball is way better than other side.
