Haven't posted much in a while so I just wanted to get my record updated before it starts to get crazy around here...

3-3 on the season
(1 for 3 ATS)
(one 4 team 10 pt tease win [-120])
(one -260 ML win, one -360 ML loss)

Looking at BC+4 tonight... Any opinions anyone?

I don't like betting against an undefeated team at home.

Good point but:

Fri, Nov 21 Grambling St. W 83-36
Sun, Nov 23 at Penn St. W 79-78
Tue, Nov 25 Coastal Carolina W 81-68
Sat, Nov 29 Delaware St. W 63-54
Wed, Dec 3 Norfolk St. W 76-53
Sat, Dec 6 Davidson W 71-53
Sat, Dec 13 Elon W 91-70
Sat, Dec 20 Howard W 89-58
Mon, Dec 22 at Citadel W 85-62
Sat, Jan 3 Rutgers W 63-57

Out of these teams I'd say the only games worth looking at are Penn State and Rutgers...

Penn State (who lost to Georgetown by 1) was on the road I'll give you that but Rutgers isn't exactly a superb road team and they held it within reason.

I admit it could be a crapshoot - the last time these guys met Georgetown stuck the hot poker up BCs ass for a score of 70-43 AT BC... I can't believe they would have forgotten that - then again I dont think BC is that much of a better team than they were last year.

Just pointing out that Georgetown's record doesn't say much other than they've been practicing quite a bit.

Still looking at BC but in the meantime taking:

St Joseph's -3.5
I don't know much about this team and I am concerned that their high ranking may set up a let down - however, beating CAL, Gonzaga, and BC leads me to think there must be something here, for now anyway. Richmond is no slouch beating Colorado, nearly beating providence, and holding thier own for some of the game against Wake. Nelson is doing better this year than last year around this time (when St Joes won this matchup by 16) so I'm diving in on the 3.5 hoping for more of the same this year.

and a 4 team 10 pointer:

Virginia Tech +28
(too many points... pitt isnt incapable of tearing a 10 or 20 point win here but a 15 possession win seems like too much - pitt didnt even beat albany by that much.)
St Josephs +6.5
(see above)
Uconn -1
(Rutgers is a tough place to play so I can't bring myself to take uconn at 11 but I gotta believe they win this game without much trouble.)
BC +14.5
(Georgetown KILLED BC last year and I think given Georgetown's weak schedule thus far that BC is in a good spot to shake things up, not sure if they cover the 4.5 but a blowout is a bit much to ask from a georgetown team who has played noone yet and now matches up against their first "real" competition)

Jaypaw...glad to see you're still taking shots at the 4-teamers. Always a lot of fun.

St. Joseph's is solid, as is B.C. I would consider Kent State +7.5 and Indiana +24 as 2 other possible plays.

I have Kent State winning this game by 5-7 points, and Indiana, while undisciplined, has enough talent to stay within 20 of the Badgers.

Best of luck.

Same old pattern - and thus further validation that teasers always find a way to lose...

St Josephs, BC, and Virginia Tech did the job without trouble and Uconn PUSHED - resulting in the loss. I should have known not to take my hometown team, I should have known not to go against rutgers with all those points at the RAC, i should have bet BC ATS as I was leaning initially - should have - should have... blah, blah

Anyway - 1 win and 1 loss results in this updated record:

4-4 on the season
(2 for 4 ATS)
(1 for 2 on the 4 team 10 pt teasers [-120])
(1 for 2 on the ML: one -260 ML win, one -360 ML loss)
