LIL COUNTRY GRAD - Out of the top three finish last time around the track at Mahoning Valley Race Cour was better than it looked on paper. She improved position down the lane and never gave up. Another way to determine class is EPS (earnings per start). This horse has the top in the group. I think she'll be close at the finish.

Vulnerable Contenders: #1A HIGHLY VISIBLE (ML=5/2), #1 ANGELOFTHEMORNING (ML=5/2), #7 ENCHANTED BOOTS (ML=3/1),

HIGHLY VISIBLE - Hasn't been coming close at all recently. ANGELOFTHEMORNING - You always figure that this animal has a shot to be victorious, but she fails most of the time. Last effort was too nice. Not too far of a reach to expect a 'performance bounce' this time. ENCHANTED BOOTS - This filly garnered a speed figure in her last contest which probably isn't good enough in today's event.

ROSIE MY WAY - The November 29th race at Parx Racing was at a class level of (86). Dropping to a lower class rank significantly, so she should be in a good place. Entered a $7,500 Claiming race at Parx Racing last time around the track and raced in the slop finishing fifth. Expect better in this event.

Vulnerable Contenders: #7 NICE N' SWEET (ML=3/1), #3 KNIGHT SPRING (ML=9/2), #9 CHUBBY CHARLIE (ML=6/1),

NICE N' SWEET - The speed rating last time around the track doesn't fit very well in this affair when I look at the class figure of today's race. Mark this horse as a likely underlay. KNIGHT SPRING - Mediocre speed figure last time out at Parx Racing at 5 1/2 furlongs. Don't think this racer will improve too much in today's race. CHUBBY CHARLIE - This mare finished off the board on December 2nd and wasn't close to victory in the last race either.

GUEST COMMENTARY: The Brain - ROSIE MY WAY - Sneaky early and closing speed on this one. Ocasio should have her ready at the top of the lane to make a conquering move.
