One of the most famous cards in the history of baseball cards.....I remember going to shows and buying these up from every dealer right before the season started

Probably averaged buying them for about a buck apeice, I ended up with 50 of them over a couple weekends and ended up selling them for $5 each to Mr Mint, Alen Rosen

I thought I made a big score, you know being in HS and making $200 buck like that.......then after the hype and 40/40 year, that card was going for $50 just a couple years later....DOH

It was just unheard of for a 2year old rookie card to command that type of premium but he was the hottest thing going.
