Tuesdays picks:
utah@san Diego state under 130.5 : both these teams play good defense especially San diego state. Playing the side on this game is to questionable for me because San diego state has some injuries. The under is much more appealing to me.
Toledo/VCU under 153 : VCU is tenacious on defense and takes pride in playing a full 40 minutes of it. I expect this to be a low scoring game due to a ton of pressure.
Michigan state/duke -7.5 : I believe duke is the better team this early in the season but this is just a lean, because these teams have a lot of history and anything could happen.
SIU/tennessee state +9 : I live in the area and siu isn't that good, they've lost all their scoring threats from last year, so they are on auto fade for me all year.
Kansas/kentucky under 141: these high profile teams that are loaded with talent take much longer to gel. I'm banking on sloppy play and not a lot of set plays. should be jailbreak basketball with not a lot of points scored until the teams settle down.

Wednesday picks:
st. Joeseph's @ gonzaga -19.5: gonzaga stomped smu at home and st. Joes lost to fairleigh dickinson and barely beat a decent Drexel team. Now they are headed across the country to Spokane and playing the zags ing front of their volatile fans..... 20 points is a lot and granted i don't know much about st. Joes this year but damn gonzaga can score and plays with tenacity. Doesn't hurt they are very seasoned, extremely deep and well coached.... I'm laying 19, 25, hell even 30 here hahahaha. I think 19.5 is almost unfair to the zags, im laying the 20.
Wisconsin-green bay @ wisconsin -15: im not exactly sure what to make of this Green Bay team since they haven't played anyone thus far and the Badgers are 2-0 on the season and 2-0 ATS. Typically these smaller wisconsin schools play the Badgers well but i can't see it happening this early. 15 points isn't much for these badgers to cover when they are only Allowing 30-40 ppg and scoring 60-70. Another thing to remember is that bo Ryan's teams DO NOT TURN THE ROUNDBALL OVER lol... Last year they averaged something like 4 turnovers per game.... Thats unfathomable. Most schools point guards average that every game of the season by themselves lol. This team is hot already and I'll blindly lead the points.
wake forest +10.5 @ Arkansas : arkansas didn't play great in their first game against a much inferior team. Wake forest is 2-0 and is a very respectable team this year. If the Razorbacks start slow again this could be a straight up win for the demon deacons. I think arkansas will edge them but 10.5 is a lot. Give me the points and wake forest.
UC irvine +16 @ arizona: no doubt arizona is legit but they are having some defensive issues so far and that's odd for them as a unit. Little known UC irvine is very undervalued this year and I seem them as an ncaa tournament team. this Could potentially be a statement game for them as well. They have nothing to lose and eveything to gain. With that being said I doubt they win, but I'm confident they "can" cover this number lol. I hope arizonas defensive struggles continue for now and UC Irvine comes out hungry. If that's the case irvine will cover this easily with 8 points to spare.

intersting games tomorrow as ow as teams are headed all over the place. What stands out so far are the following:
cal +5/ syracuse: this game is at MSG which is basically a home game for syracuse but I like cal here. I'm very high on syracuse every year because of their scheme, coach and length, but indont quite think they are ready for cal this early in the season. I think this line should stay right around 5 but it could move either way. I'll wait to see where the line goes but I think cal wins this game straight up so hopefully the public moves the line towards the Orange soni can grab an extra 1.5 points or more lol.
iowa +5.5 / texas: this game is in puerto rico and there's no telling who will show up. Both teams can score and play D, so I'll just take the dog here at 5.5 as I expect this to be close for most of the game... I'm betting this small tho and using this game as a precursor to determine who is the better team to bet on from here on out as this will be a big game early for both teams.
