I love at hot tables, I take advantage of hot rolls and hot tables, every dealer knows the difference. You ever have a dealer try to tell you to walk away?

And NO, nobody is pretending mathematical probabilities change, they don't, the math is always the same. I just say SHIT HAPPENS, and that's 10,000% accurate and I could care less about the math.

If you're a professional gambler and play 5 days or 20 + hours a week, you better play the game perfectly because the math will eat you alive if you don't. But if you're a recreational gambler looking to have fun, just go with the flow, the math may kill you short term.

Bingo. Bodyforlife you seem like an angry little man, like at a dice table know when to walk away you are going to have a stroke talking about a game you can't beat.

Yes, Willie knows me well. I'm an angry little man. Maybe focus on what's being said instead of your Ad Hominems Michigan boy.

Whoa. Dang Willie. I never knew you were that much of an exhibitionist. How far do you get into the act before security stops you? Do you also do the swingers thing? Nudist colony?

A few years ago at the Grand in Biloxi, an elderly women took the dice and threw her first 3 rolls
off the table. She was so embarrassed that she wanted to pass the dice. Most at the table encouraged
her to keep trying. Even though she occasionally threw dice off the table, she rolled for over 43 minutes.
I had one of my best days ever playing craps.

BFL is cool, one of my boys. He agrees with me 88% of the time too, so he's pretty smart :)

But when it comes to craps, he plays on the dark side, anyone who like's 7's has to have some issues, but I'm OK with that

Has anyone ever tried to go to cold tables and hope they turn hot?

That could be a gold mine.

aren't you a don't player? or is that Zit? maybe both of you guys?

All I know is somebody around here said they're a don't player

Don't is the best way to play craps and the casino table employees don't care for these players. I've watched table employees explaining the game to a walk up player and they ALWAYS start with explaining the pass line and how it works....they will even say "most players" play the pass line.

You may be confused because I've talked about playing the "don't" before, but I'm not exclusively a "don't" player. I tend to play the "don't" about 25% of the time and it's often dictated by table limits. I was in Vegas over New Years (got comped rooms at the Cosmopolitan) and played the "don't" at their casino because the lowest they ever had their limit was $25 and often it was $50. That's a little rich for my blood if I played how I normally played. I played the "don't" and backed it up by a small amount of odds (they allow it there...some casinos won't accept less than an entire unit). Admittedly, they won't comp me again for my next trip because I barely gave them any play due to their limits. I mostly played at the Palazzo as they had $15 tables.

I have no problem playing the "don't" as it does reduce the house advantage over the pass line (albeit slightly). Double Play, I have never had any ill will thrown at me by any dealers when I bet the "don't" (I see no reason why they should care....it's not like the math is hard to figure out). I do agree that when they normally explain the game to a beginner, they do focus on the pass line.

What's the best way to play DC?

If I play the don't, I usually will play the DC and lay odds as well...except for 6&8.

I find that when I do win...there's generally a sad aura and lots of turnover at the table.

Playing the don't seems to be the most fun when there's plenty of numbers being hit, but they are still crapping out at a decent rate.

I was really surprised to see the maximum line bet in Dover Delaware was $1000.. I though it would be 5,000.
