Donald Trump's legal team continues to show the entire country how incompetent they really are. Many months ago, members of his legal team were having dinner at a fancy restaurant in South Florida, where they talked about the multitude of problems they were facing by having Trump as a client - and while dealing with his other lawyers. A reporter for The Guardian happened to be sitting at the table next to them and heard every word, and now the reporter has gone public. Farron Cousins explains what happened.

Please excuse any typos. I have been telling you for quite some time now, the Donald Trump's legal team is well bad. Nearly every single lawyer that Donald Trump has picked has somehow proven time and time again that they're probably not gonna make it into the Trial lawyer Hall of Fame in their lifetime or beyond that either, by the way. And we got another story this week, and no, I'm not talking about the pact that they had to basically go down on a blaze of glory if one of them happened to be fired. And I'm also not talking about the other story this week where all of Trump's lawyers are turning against one another because they think one of 'em is snitching to the feds. I'm talking about the other other Trump lawyer story that came out this week from The Guardian. Here's what happened. Trump lawyer, Jim Trustee, about a year or so ago, actually not quite a year ago, um, after they had had the court hearing about getting a special master appointed to go through the documents taken from Mar-a-Lago, Jim trustees sat down at a dinner in a public restaurant with two other Trump lawyers. They were, um, Evan Corcoran and uh, uh, Halligan Lindsey Halligan. So you got three Trump lawyers. They're sitting out there in a public place at dinner talking about how horrible it is representing Donald Trump because of one of his lawyers by the name of Boris Epstein. Now, Epstein, of course, is the individual who was recently called out by departed Trump lawyer Jim Par. Tori As Par Tori said Epstein would basically act as the filter, wouldn't let any of the other lawyers get to Donald Trump, and Epstein would take all the information, twist it around, feed it to Donald Trump, and then feed the feedback back to the other lawyers. And Par Toi was like, screw this. This is no way to handle it. You're lying to Trump. I can't do it. Well, apparently Parlet Tori wasn't the first lawyer who was having this problem. Mr. Trustee and Halligan and Corcoran at that dinner were expressing their frustration over Epstein acting as the filter and basically feeding Donald Trump possibly even feeding them incorrect information. And we know that now, you know, because the other story this week about Evan Corcoran, now it appears that he was possibly materially misled by Donald Trump, which likely came from Mr. Epstein. So they're in this restaurant openly talking about the case Trump's legal problems and their problems with other lawyers. Now, I don't need to tell you that that's not something good lawyers ever do, like ever. I have been to more dinners than I care to count with some of the best lawyers in this country. And you know what? They never do Talk about the cases that they're handling at the moment. Moment, even when they're talking with other lawyers from other firms who they're trying to bring in on those cases. You don't discuss it in public. And you know why? Cuz you never know who's sitting at that table next to you. And that apparently is the problem that Donald Trump's big mouth lawyers had because when they were having this discussion, the person at the table right next to them happened to be a reporter for The Guardian who has now written this story about that conversation that they overheard all those months ago. So when I tell you that Donald Trump really isn't playing with a full deck in terms of his legal team, this is the kind of crap I'm talking about. And I think given the other reports this week, this particular story is probably gonna cause even more friction within Donald Trump's legal team. Epstein, I imagine, is not going to be happy with it, but it is what it is. Maybe Donald Trump needs to take a good hard look at all of his lawyers, not just Epstein, but pretty much every single one of them, because Epstein may be the worst. But if the rest of your legal team is stupid enough to be talking about all of this in the open, we're literally everyone around them can hear it, then maybe those aren't the kind of smart guys that you really want trying to keep you out of prison because they don't seem like they're really up to the job.
